Well it worked on me. I have no interest in any further Thomas Harris books.
Hannibal Lechter said “I love Donald Trump — with fava beans and a nice Chianti. He’s very nice marbled and that rump roast will be very tender and juicy”.
Thanks, I just threw up in my mouth a little.
God. Bless. America.

The Daily Show put together a video showing Fox News’s double standard when it comes to talking about Biden vs. Trump.
Awkward Fox News Supercut Exposes Network’s Ugliest Double-Standard (msn.com)
Seems like he wrote some whiny-bitchy thing about a court reporter? (A woman? Was she black or “foreign-looking”?) And put it on all or some of: his own shitty website, shitty truth social and Musk’s shitty site and the judge told him to remove it all? But on some some it remained and the judge actually said the word “jail” till the lawyer said “oversight, stupid Trump-ployees, etc…”
I want him to die in jail - not spend 10 minutes during what will be a big-arse “Constitutional Crises” when the Secret Service has to bail his ass out of jail for contempt or whatever.
Yet it’s good to know his lawyer’s know he’s “on notice” and he doesn’t give a fuck and will ramp it up. Maybe there will come a day when the bailiffs haul his ass off to holding and calls are made to President “I may be Irish but I’m not Stupid” and he’s not available.
No judge is going to sentence Trump to a life sentence for violating a gag order, but the first jail time, if it comes, for violating the gag order will have to seem very brief and not very punitive, to be followed up by a longer jail stay and then an even longer one, etc.
That was my point - the judge today (or yesterday?) said the word “jail” regarding a clear violation of an order to remove whatever childlike-whining Trump wrote about a court reporter just to get the lawyer to blame it on some oversight. Trump won’t stop and there will come a point where bangs gavel Bailiffs (or sherrifs or whatever), “take custody of Mr. Trump”. I’m not a lawyer yet I don’t think a lawyer can object to that. It’ll all be about the Secret Service. No handcuffs, frog-marching, orange-suits or iron bars.
The worst possible outcome would be Trump being able to say, “I fought the law, and I won”
His blatant dis-regard for the law, fraud, tax evasion, “mis-handling of top secret documents”, him basically saying, “I will not uphold the Constitution” which are the like the fucking first words of the oath for presidency - none of that will have him in prison.
A video of him conspiring with Putin to “Do whatever to Ukraine, just get me elected” won’t even be enough as of now. Even if he said it out loud tomorrow.
Nitpick: it’s not a court reporter (person who takes down testimony and other court proceedings via machine shorthand) that was the subject of the offending post; it was Judge Engoron’s principal law clerk, a key member of his court staff.
Plus it wasn’t childish whining. It was vicious slander of the judge’s senior legal assistant, IIRC.
And the post was email blasted out to tens of thousands of Trump’s followers, who doubtless did not forward it and immediately deleted it when the court ordered it taken down, right? /s
He has 91 felony charges, and from what I understand, any one of them could lead to a jail sentence. The odds are not with 45.
One might say the odds are 91 against 45.
I see what you did there.
The average president has been charged with 2 felonies.
And don’t you just know that if he draws a life term on one of those charges, the headlines will scream “Trump: Feds Find Me Innocent On 90 Charges out of 91!”
Really? Can you name a few?
Okay, I get it now. If you take the shitgibbon’s 91 felony charges and distribute them among all other presidents you get that number.
That’s how averages work.
