Yeah, I get it too, the “Democrats are much worse” argument and the “I like him because he hurts the people I hate” argument. I had my own “How can trump still be a viable candidate?” thread, so I feel like I’m pretty well schooled on the sad realities of trumpism. But I still cannot for the life of me understand how even the most venal, hate-filled, anti-Democratic American can read that Thanksgiving screed and not, at least in the back of their mind, think “wow, he is kinda nutballs”.

This is why I kind of hoped @hurrilon would stay in the thread and play with us a while longer. I would really be interested in his rationalization of this.

Except Mrs. T, who stood out (as she no doubt intended) in a light grey outfit.
About as classy as one would expect from her.
I’m no fashion expert, but from my lay-person perspective, that outfit is not offensive for a funeral.
Not per se, but when everyone else of your status is dressed otherwise at a solemn occasion, it reeks of “Look at me!”
Don’t forget, she wore a jacket with “I really don’t care. Do U?” on the back when doing a visit to the Texas border during the family separation crisis.
