We had a daughter, we wanted another child. I wanted a son. Using a period tracking app, I calculated the exact date to attempt to inseminate my wife. 70% reliability is reliable enough for me.
It worked. I have two wonderful children. And inactive sperm, as I got a vasectomy shortly after my son was born.
My appoach was slightly less literal than my description, and I did (and she did) make it a fun occasion for both of us, but I did have a scientific strategy in mind.
Well there’s your problem. He started on it immediately on the evening of January 6th, but as with every miracle Trump performs it takes two weeks, and so wasn’t ready until the evening of January 20th. Ooops!
“Honey, can I borrow you for a minute?” “HOW did you get past security? I’m MEETING WITH THE JOINT CHIEFS! Can’t this wait?”
“Well, we have maximum chance for a boy during the next ten minutes, according to the math… umm, do you want me to show my work?” “Annnd, now you’ve been tackled by federal agents… sorry, dear.”
Unlike the eponymous star in this thread, at least I planned the ocasion, gave the lady involved due attention and did not feel obliged to pay her hush money afterwards.
ETA, while I am not very serious in this thread, there is research that backs me up, somewhat.
This would absolutely not surprise me. Young attractive former model, raised by Trump to a position of power despite hardly any experience, always seemed to be at the president’s side…
I would be amazed if he hadn’t made a pass at her, maybe several. Just ask his two ex-wives: obeying his marriage vows isn’t exactly a priority for him.
I’m not particularly onboard with Melania’s tactics in this situation. She has been very distant from Tump recently, and I assume she is hoping he doesnt do any incredibly stupid maneuver and she can get something, anything, out of her marriage.
I don’t have a pile of respect for her. Like Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, I give her grudging respect for bravery (and a little less so for foolhardiness)… but she (and they) did apparently have sexual intercourse with someone who is the least possible attractive man, both in personality and vain skin color. What were they thinking?
I have made romantic errors in the past. I guess most of us have done so. So not blaming the victim, but certainly blaming Mrs Trump’s judgement.
Melania, from a random internet person to you: it is time to divorce.
My theory is that she forced a renegotiation of what had been their pre-nup, resulting in much-more favorable terms so long as she doesn’t divorce him within X years and agrees to some trivially easy restrictions on her behavior (e.g., no badmouthing him to the press). I think she’s making the best of having sold her soul.
