How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 1)

Must… not… bring up… Jimmy Hoffa… disappearance…

Is Judge Crater a tired topic?

Thank you.

“What we know” versus “what some assume” is nothing to do with conspiracy theories.

It is, instead, about the concepts of evidence and observation as compared with conjecture.

I am having doubts that you can take this in. You seem so wedded to the ‘conspiracy theory theory’ that I don’t think you can let it go.

Nonetheless, many other people are capable of seeing the difference between discussions of the scientific method and of baseless conspiracies. Therefore, I will reply to continue to make that difference clear.

And the fact that many Trump fans are just as blind as you (apparently) to the difference between evidence and inference, and that Trump himself can’t even begin to take in the concept, has pissed me off today.

You are doubting that Trump was injured at all. You are doubting that it was blood. That, what, he faked it in the moment as the bullets whizzed past him? That it was staged? Did he murder a follower or was the firefighter a crisis actor? And now the FBI is in on the conspiracy somehow?

What’s pathetic is that you either don’t realize you sound just like Alex Jones, or don’t care. I didn’t realize you were a nutjob before. You either hid it well or I somehow never noticed (which would be my bad I guess).

I’m pointing out the difference between accepting what we actually saw, and accepting the word of Trump and his minions as to what happened.

“What we actually saw” may be irrelevant to you, but it isn’t irrelevant to people who want to rely on evidence and observation when assessing claims (by Trump or anyone else).

And the FBI, who said he was hit by either a bullet or fragment after investigating.

I’m not basing a thing on what Trump said. Absolutely zero. Nothing. Period.

Okay I’ll humor you. Give your alternate explanation to the idea that Trump was injured rather than vaguely shuffling around the subject.

What I saw was thousands of his followers wearing maxi-pads on their ears to show their support for Dear Leader.

Yeah, that was definitely cult behavior. And I don’t doubt that the bandage Trump wore was a dramatic affectation to play up what was ultimately a very minor injury.

Perhaps we have a physicist here who could math out how close a .223 round traveling at mach 2.8 would have to come to one’s ear to cause an injury without making actual contact. The bow shock could possibly draw blood just on its own.

This is the wrong thread for theories about what happened at that rally.

My pointing out that taking people’s word for what happened is less good than looking at the observable evidence about what happened is independent of theorizing about one incident.

That was revolting. Though not as horrifying as having them actually cut their ears to show their devotion. I’m relieved (and somewhat surprised) that they didn’t do that–as far as we know, anyway.

Well neither of us were there so neither of us can do any of that. All you and I can do is take the word of investigators and decide if they are telling the truth or part of some vast conspiracy.

Since I’m sane, I opt for the former.

Follow the gourd! Remove one sandal!

There truly is Python for every modern phenomenon. (Just as there’s a pisses-us-off video or post from Trump about every conceivable topic.)

I took a tumble of a scooter yesterday and scraped the side of my face against a pedestrian pedestal thingie and now I’ve got this crusty flesh wound on the top of my ear. I’m thinking of telling everybody it’s for Trump and they should do it too.

Not knowing where to put this, looks like Trump’s plane to Bozeman was diverted and has landed in Billings, MT (2 hours away from Bozeman by car). Regardless, he is most likely going to be quite late to his rally.

Someone pointed out that the divergence was probably earlier:

Further digging and I’m reading it’s probably a hydraulic leak.

What a metaphor.

Was Willie Brown with him?

This made my day!

It’s amazing that rusty old pile of shit hasn’t just fallen out of the air yet.
