The attack on public health is so weird to me. Education, sure - stupid people are easily manipulated. Stupid people can still work and make money for the oligarchs. Stupid, unhealthy people, not so much. How does a nation of sick people help them achieve their goals? Especially since the precious children they always talk about will suffer the most?

I caught much of Trump’s remote speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
There’s a 50-minute YouTube video of both the speech and the Q&A that followed (mostly from the sycophants who seek his favor and fear his vindictiveness).
If his Inaugural address reminded you of what a tiny, evil, petty, insecure and angry man Trump is, the speech to the Davos crowd will remind you of what a narcissistic fucking idiot he is.

I caught some of it too, mostly listening (bad enough). Even more embarrassing than usual. I cringe watching the other members cringe at his whinging. His giant orange head is so far up his own arse that he actually thinks anyone there cares about his personal grievances against his political rivals. It’s like going to an Executive Board meeting and some ass clown telling you all about his divorce.
