It depends on what your definitions of “American” and “Fascism” are. Fascism is something that existed in the 1930s in Europe, by definition it can’t exist in America in the 21st century. Therefore antifa has to be a terrorist organization because it’s a catch-all term for resisting something that isn’t real in America in 2025. Words mean what the dear leader says they mean. Reality is what the dictator dictates. Black is white. Up is down. Ignorance is knowledge. Lies are truth.
President Trump announced Wednesday that he will designate antifa as a terrorist organization, and is recommending investigations into people who allegedly fund it.
It’s unclear when the designation will take place, or what legal implications it will have. Antifa — short for anti-fascist — is a loose affiliation of mostly left-leaning activists, and generally is not considered to be a highly organized group.
Question: How do you determine who funds antifa? What organizations are going to be determined to be antifa adjacent?
Answer: Anyone and anything that Trump, Miller, Bannon or Loomer and their ilk think needs to be silenced, deported, arrested, or just executed.
It’s going to happen, and when it does it will be under the color of a horribly corrupt legal system. It’s all obfuscation, but representatives of the regime will be able to quote legal statutes and Court decisions which will be enough for roughly half the country to justify it to themselves. Principles are dead. Truth is dead. Reality is what Trump says it is.
Does anyone else remember Trump’s Judge Dredd moment? This was way back in February, everything else that has happened this year has flowed from this.

Definitely. Very embarrassing for Americans, and a source of wonder for the rest of the world (along the lines of ‘HOW could you have allowed this?!?!?!!?’)
What exactly am I supposed to do? I’m starting to actively disengage on Facebook from political discussion so someone doesn’t look me up and come to my house and burn it down. I’m not even joking. The other side has the fucking military working for them.
We can vote. We can write and call congress. We can demonstrate on the streets. I’m sorry, But it doesn’t seem to do jack shit.
I’m mostly disappointed in congress. They should dig in their heals and go to full stop. The president is a traitor after all. SCOTUS has been bought off, and 70 million of my countrymen are complete and total morons.
I’m not gonna start shooting people. But I fear that’s what this country will start doing. Well, they already are.
I turned on the television and apparently Trump was giving a speech with the British PM. He was hitting all the usual points, wind is bad, all the wars he solved, how he thought Ukraine would be the easy one etc. He seems to be repeating himself more than ever. Doesn’t he have any speechwriters who can come up with anything new? At this point, I could probably give his speech. Did you know that he solved seven wars? Some were going on for decades. Nobody thought it could be done but he did it.
It’s easy to get into that ‘there’s nothing we can do’ mindset. I’ve felt it and I’m guessing that many here have, too.
But how about something that has

That’s impressive. And it’s do-able. We need about 11 million Americans taking to the street. We’ve already come close to that. And as the reality of the Trump economy starts hitting, getting those few extra million may happen quite naturally.
