How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 2)

Is there such a thing as a lifetime cringe limit? I think we’re all approaching it.

Now I know what it’s like to have the President of the United States, the leader of the country I love, be seen as both a laughingstock and a threat to world peace.

And it sucks.

I call dibs on NOT having to clear that printer jam.

Eww…phrasing…

If we make it we can all sit back and laugh
But I fear tomorrow I’ll be crying

Being the eternal optimist that I am, I still lean towards the former.

That ain’t White-Out

Buddhism has the concept of a hungry ghost.

Pretas, or “hungry ghosts,” are beings who are tormented by desire that can never be sated. They are often portrayed with tiny mouths and throats and the swollen bellies of the starving, meaning they can never consume enough to ease the suffering of their hungers

I’ve heard someone say, “I have what Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Donald Trump, and Zuckerberg will never have: Enough.” I think of that often.

That’s well put.

Agree. The really demented thing is that those same assholes would laugh at and mock the sentiment without understanding it at all.

Trump’s niece wrote a book about this. " Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man"

She’s a physcologist.

For some insane reason I am listening to his speech. Just to clarify that this is a speech at the Davos Economic Forum so he might be talking about economics. He just blamed Iceland for the stock market drop. At least the whole world will see how insane his rants are. He has hit the usual points including windmills, the auto pen, how he made European countries raise drug prices which will lower them in the US by 1000-2000% but I think he did say he would not take Greenland by force.

He just said that he coerced Macron to raise drug prices by saying he would go public about the deal unless Macron agreed. So he is now publicly speaking about the deal. So people in Europe, have your drug prices doubled and tripled as he reported?

So he made it there?

His body and his mouth are there. Who knows where his brain is.

Watching clips of this with a work colleague:

Trump: “The problem with NATO is that we’ll be there for them 100%. But I’m not sure that they’ll be there for us. They’re not there for us on Iceland. That I can tell you. I mean, our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland.”

Colleague: “…Iceland?”

Me: “Forget it - he’s rolling.”

Trump is so embarrassing! He has an uncanny ability to outdo himself on a daily basis! November can’t come fast enough!

Meanwhile, Iceland is all “what the @$%# did we do???”

You’re named what Greenland should’ve been named and the doddering fool America chose for their leader mixed up the names.

Welp, some of the spinless turds in Congress are finding ways to justify Agent Orange’s threats to Greenland.

Some G.O.P. lawmakers have aligned themselves more squarely with Mr. Trump’s ambition of taking Greenland by force if necessary.

Senator Eric Schmitt, Republican of Missouri, a Trump loyalist, argued over the weekend that the United States was uniquely capable of defending Greenland and criticized European governments as too weak to do so themselves.

“There’s a lot of reasons that the United States has a very important interest in making sure that Greenland is protected,” Mr. Schmitt said during an appearance on Fox News. “Europe can’t protect it, the Danes can’t protect it. That’s just an obvious fact at this point. And so it is in the strategic interest of the United States of America to pursue this.”

And Senator Ted Cruz, Republican of Texas, commended Mr. Trump for targeting the territory, saying on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo”: “I believe it is overwhelmingly in America’s national interest to acquire Greenland.”

I wonder if the reporter from Fox News thought to ask Senator Eric Schmitt why acquiring Greenland was necessary to defend it, and the existing treaties allowing US forces there aren’t enough.
