How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 2)

What a bunch of Morouns.

Crime is legal now if you vote for Trump.

I sometimes capitalize an entire word in a sentence, but not necessarily the first letter of the sentence.

You’re right, that’s 7,000% plausible.

Hmm. Your statement sounds present or past tense, not future or subjunctive. It’s now 2026. There was no vote about trump in 2025. There might be some voting in 2028. But it won’t be about him; he’s ineligible then.

You’ve told us elsewhere you’re barely a teenager. I estimate your first time being old enough to vote for president is 2032. It’s a decent bet trump will be dead of old age by then. For darn sure he won’t be running for president.

So what is your actual point?

Trump already made plans to personally profit off of airport name change.

That’s according to a Monday article by attorney Josh Gerben, of the firm Gerben IP. Gerben wrote that Trump’s holding company that manages his intellectual property — DTTM Operations LLC — filed three trademark applications on February 13 and 14. One is for “President Donald J. Trump International Airport,” another is for “Donald J. Trump International Airport” and the third is for “DJT.” ….

If the trademark application is approved by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, it would mean the president could feasibly get a share of profits from “a range of branded merchandise, including clothing, handbags, luggage, jewelry, watches, and tie clips,” per the application. Gerben also noted that the president’s name “could be accompanied by a broader licensing program associated with merchandise.”

Abraham Lincoln led the country through the Civil War. FDR led it through the Great Depression and the Second World War. JFK said, “Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.”

Donald Trump asks, “How can I make more money from this?”

Hey, he’s stopped 8 whole wars. None of those losers won more than 1

And then he would regard Lincoln, FDR and JFK as suckers and losers for not leveraging their power for self enrichment.

All of the previous presidents, really, because they all thought about something other than themselves.

From Heather Cox Richardson yesterday:

In a tour of George Washington’s Virginia home, Mount Vernon, in April 2019, Trump expressed surprise that the first president hadn’t named any of his property after himself. “If he was smart, he would’ve put his name on it,” Trump said. “You’ve got to put your name on stuff or no one remembers you.”

Or you do things that people respect you for, and then they name things after you, even without your prompting them. Like the many, many things named for George Washington. But that idea is so foreign to him.

That is expressed exactly as a 5yo would. How utterly typical of Dear Leader.

Yep - more from HCRichardson:

As Washington predicted, the presidents Americans revere despite their faults—George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt—are those who used the enormous power of the U.S. government not for their own aggrandizement but to secure and expand the rights and the prosperity of the American people.

I recommend reading Heather Cox Richardson’s entire post from yesterday.

He really can’t imagine the idea of doing something for the benefit of the public as a whole and not because it benefits him somehow.

That’s for suckers and losers.

She’s great! I started a thread on her Feb 15 post.

Benidict Arnold didn’t name anything, yet we remember him.

Trust me, we will remember you, you traitor.

It’s once again projection on his part.

I doubt he knows who Benedict Arnold was and I imagine the only way he personally remembers historical figures is by seeing their names on things. He can’t imagine people might actually be interested in dead people otherwise.
