That would be great. If he could pull the George Costanza stategy, we would have the best president ever!
Wrote my congress critters again - "“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”
DO SOMETHING.
Yet. If there is a way to make money, Trump will find it. The shops will be strongarmed into purchasing these (made in China) items from a Trump “company” in a strip mall in Vegas. Maybe even get a better deal if they will also sell some plain old “Trump” perfume and vodka.
Yeah Mr. Potatohead president has gotten bored of peace, alright.
Just a super quick lowdown what he’s lining up for Iran…whether he TACOS like last month - shrug…

If I, by deed poll or whatever legal machinery allows name changes, do in fact change my name to “Donald J Trump” can I, too claim licensing fees?
It seems less of a scam than the actual Trump shit.
Sure, I would be universally reviled and mocked and both sides of the political spectrum would probably hate me, but I could probably become rich faster than anyone notices I have an actual hairstyle and I am not very orange…
Trump hangs a banner of his face on the Justice department.

Another nail in the coffin of irony.
It is stuff like this that reminds me of George Orwell’s 1984, where Big Brother’s portrait was everywhere.
Interestingly enough a sentence including the phrases “Donald Trump” and “hung outside the Justice Department” is something I could potentially support.
Large portraits of Lenin and Stalin were common too.
Giant statues are next.\
But think of the fun we’ll have bulling them all down with tanks and bulldozers and such once he & his follow-on government are gone. Hope I live to see it, but I’m not optimistic. I’ll almost certainly outlive him. It’s his ghastly legacy I’m thinking will outlive me.
Or Kim Jong Un.
The dismantling of Stalin’s legacy, or ‘de-Stalinization’, began shortly after his death. True, it did take something like 8 years to fully remove all of the monuments he had built and remove all trace of his legacy, but hopefully trump does not succeed in building things like his ‘Arc de trump’ that will be difficult and laborious to tear down.
So, to borrow from the ‘Forgotten Memes’ thread:
The person who replaced Stalin was a rival.
The person who replaces trump is probably going to be a like-minded ally. And better at being a dictator then trump ever could be. Not as charismatic in that weird way of his, but more competent, and therefore more effective as an authoritarian.
The political pendulum swings right, and it swings left. I think people are going to be so exhausted with trumpism after 3 more years of his shit that they’ll vote in the opposite direction and go with the Democratic candidate. Provided that the trump admin does not manage to completely rig the voting process, and the Dem candidate is at least marginally charismatic.
Even the Arch of Neutrality, the giant golden statue of Turkmenistan leader Saparmurat Niyazov that rotated to always face the sun, came down in the end.
“Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair…”
Great example, thanks! See, @LSLGuy – the true legacy of a despot is never a favorable one. I feel optimistic that you will see the remains of trumpism lying half sunk and shattered in the sand one day, not too long in the future.
Until his bones turn to dust.
♫ But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao Fascist Don
You ain’t gonna make it with anyone ♫
He is doing everything his pea brain can come up with to rig the vote. He did it in 2020 too.
What ever happened to those fake electors. Are they in prison? They should be.
