How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 2)

I’ve told Hubster a few times that it wouldn’t surprise me if he had his name put above JFK’s on JFK’s headstone.

I submit that it’s just another manifestation of his narcissism. Nobody would put his name on anything because they would be putting their own everywhere. Or “nobody recognizes my genius and I’m unappreciated for how magnificent I am.”

Okay, that’s more likely; he is a narcissist and can’t imagine that others are not the same. Someone mentioned his amazement that George Washington didn’t name his estate and other things after himself. I’ll bet that he thinks it was Washington’s idea to name the capital after himself.

Thanks a bunch - now I’m thinking he’ll announce that he’s changing the name to “Donald J. Trump, DC”, and announce it makes him a chiropractor.

How about “Donald J. Trump, DT”?

Lotta things DT could stand for, but only one matters to him.

“Deplorable Tyrant” comes to mind.

Maybe “delirium tremens” if he gave up his Diet Coke addiction.

Here’s loser Donnie calling a state dinner for China’s President ," stupid" back in 2011.

C’mon. Give the old guy a break. 2011 was way more than two weeks ago!

The only thing Trump knows about the past is a vague sense that certain people (Obama, Rosie O’Donnell, Graydon Carter of Vanity Fair, etc) are on his “shitlist” for reasons his jumbled brain cannot recall.

That lack of actual memory of the slight, real or imagined, is less important than his fragile ego…

Please! Say ‘fecal roster’.

Why? Trump surely can’t.

Nowadays Donald is older and lonelier, so he likes to reward those who screw him.

From photos of Donald as supplicant before Xi to Xi’s own speeches,* Donald took it up the rear and said “thank you.”

^Several good short videos here.

*In one speech Xi referred to The Thucydides Trap, which concerns a declining power (USA) confronting a rising one:

Hmmm…Xi has read a book. Probably more than one.

Trump has not only never read a book, he couldn’t get through a one-page briefing prepared by his staff.

While almost certainly true in a general sense, there’s at least one book that we can be pretty confident Trump has read I think…

This was the first time Trump had invoked Hitler’s name and the title of his memoir at a political rally, but there have been multiple reports over the years of Trump expressing a keen interest in, even admiration for, Hitler’s rule over Nazi Germany.

In the past, he’s actually acknowledged owning a copy of the book.

Trump’s denial that he had read Hitler’s memoir came after he has made a series of incendiary remarks in recent weeks referring to his political opponents as “vermin” and saying illegal immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country.”

Note the date on that article is December of 2023. And he still won the election.

Nah… one of his flunkies told him what was in it.

Hey, reading is hard! You have to mostly sit still, focus on the page, stay awake, and then there are those little squiggles called words. Let’s face it, reading is for guys who don’t play golf and can’t get babes. IOW, losers.

He read the blurb on the book jacket where Ron Vara praised the book’s author, Peter Navarro, about tariffs. That’s something.

That’s because “Xi is a strong man, a powerful man. He’s tall, 6ft 2in.”

Does Mein Kampf come in a pop up picture book format?

ETA: just to check whether everything is really available on the internet, I did a search on “Mein Kampf for kids”, and I did find page for Mein Kampf being sold by Mr. Mopp’s Childrens books..

It’s listed as unavailable, I wonder why.

Sold out the first run of 150M copies? There are a lot of MAGA families who need to properly indoctrinate their chilluns

More seriously …
For folks who lived through WW-II, owning a copy of Mein Kampf wasn’t that outré. Not because they were sympathizers, but because they wanted the horse’s mouth version of why this disaster occurred. Shirer’s Rise and Fall of the Third Reich published in 1960 was also a common bookshelf tome for well-read folks back then.

None of which is relevant to trump’s non-reading habits. But goes a bit to my disdain of the current hysteria that anyone who knows or researches anything about Nazis must be a sympathizer, closeted or not.

Now trump’s a fascist through and through and back when he could think sorta coherently he probably admired a lot of Nazi philosophy and especially phraseology. Good propaganda doesn’t die; it just gets re-applied to the next similar situation.

I read it once, in the '80s. Couldn’t find it recently, so I ordered a 50th anniversary edition.
