That, and he’s unbelievably pretentious. It’s like you take Frazier Crane and have him alternate between being his posh uptight self and a guy who giggles when someone make a fart joke.
And maybe it’s my lack of being interested in men, but ladies, is he actually a physically attractive dude?

LOL. That’s a good one.
He’s not bad on the eyes. He has a nerdy quality that makes him attractive to me. If he were a real person or if I existed in the HIMYM universe, I’d go on a date with him. But then, after one date, I’d probably realize what a self absorbed douche he is and decline further dates.
My wife says that Jason Segel has it all over NPH and Josh Radnor in looks, but then again, that may just be because he’s the tallest.
And, unless someone noticed or did not notice a ring on Ted’s finger, there was no indication that Barney married first.
All we really know is that it was at least 8 or so months after that episode (Lily wasn’t pregnant when she summoned Ted at the wedding) (did itl look like she was a bridesmaid?)
They definitely set it up to be “Challenge Accepted” girl that Barney marries after the bit in the limo to “The Intersection” and the talk with Ted about the past, and about the “going to get coffee” stuff through the entire episode.
Then again, it wouldn’t be unheard of for that to be a long term piece of misinformation.
Poor Barney, having to choose between Nora and Robin.
Much as I think Robin is super attractive I think I’d have to go with Nora.

Yes, the wedding was alluded to at the beginning of the season as where Ted meets the mother.
Please please please make Zoe go away. IMO this show is at its best when it doesn’t focus on Ted and his relationships.
I’m pretty sure that Zoey is done, unless she makes one last quick appearance. So, you should be good.

Yes. Yes, he is. All the guys on this show are hot. Marshal has off years when his hair is doing something extremely weird, but otherwise, hot.
Re-watching re-runs, Sarah Chalke (Stella) was as annoying as Zoe. What is it with Ted and annoying blondes?
I got this early this morning - remember when Lily says, “I wasn’t paying attention, either - Ted does tend to go on about a bitch”? That was about Zoe AND ABOUT THE WHOLE DAMNED SHOW! Nicely done, writers! 
ETA: I called the pregnancy at about the first barf, too. Dammit. We’re afraid they’re going to move the show a year or so into the future when it comes back in fall, and there’s going to be an irritating baby on the show.
At this point I really don’t care if we don’t meet the mother until the final scene of the final episode. All the other pieces are in place.
We know that Ted meets the mother at a wedding, which is now strongly implied to be Barney’s wedding.
We see Lily at the same wedding wearing something that looks like a bridesmaid’s dress.
And so far, we haven’t seen Robin in any glimpses of the wedding.
But Nora is not Lily’s friend, so it’s unlikely that Lily would be Nora’s bridesmaid.
To sum up, I agree with enzali.
Realistically it always had to be Barney’s wedding. In the premier Ted is looking quite upset and it makes scence that he would be seeing as he has been defeated to the alter by…Barney. And I call Robin as the future Mrs Stinson…would also make Ted unhappy.
So what are we guessing - two more seasons? Next season leading up to the wedding, then the final season showing Ted and The Wife as a couple (not to mention Barney and Robin as husband and wife)?
It would be a lot like Friends last season. A good way to finish off the series.
Re-watched the ending:
No ring on Ted
If Lily is pregnant, it’s only 3-4 months, but the dress has a strange poof around the middle so it’s hard to tell.
Lily’s dress is bright satin, could be bridesmaid-ish, but if she’s matron of honor, what is she doing running errands for the groom?
It doesn’t say “A short while later” it says “A little ways down the road” which could be a much longer time. . .
The very best thing about this episode though? The velocirapter sound effect. Whoever thought of that is freakin’ brilliant.
Well, Ted and Marshal were both outside. Barney was getting ready. That leaves her, assuming Robin is the bride. If it’s Nora, then it could be Robin not even coming to the wedding because she can’t handle it.
Why it couldn’t have been someone outside the group, well, that’s not how sitcoms in particular and TV shows in general work.

I’m guessing it will be after the pregnancy and she’s lost the weight. IT would make sense for the wedding to be next season finale. I keep thinking they’ll end the episode with “And that’s how I met your mother,” but not actually reveal who it is until the season premiere.
They’ve teased that scene in many different episodes over the last few seasons. They may have originally shot the sequence when Alyson Hannigan was pregnant in real life and made the dress poofy enough to disguise her belly.
