I like Victoria, but I hope she and Ted don’t get back together in a serious relationship, since we know it won’t last.
Is it just me or is the most anoying character in the show Ted - Ironic really as its all about him…
It’s not just you.
yeh
I only watched HIMYM sporadically during season one, which was years ago anyway, so I’d forgotten the pastry chef woman was named Victoria. I am, however, a fan of The Kinks, so throughout the episode I was thinking “I wonder why they keep playing the music from ‘Victoria’. Seems like an odd choice. But hey, it’s The Kinks, so great!” If I’d remembered her name I would have realized right away Victoria would be returning!
Meh. Victoria is just an appetizer to keep Ted involved in relationship hell while the producers work through the Barney-Robin-Nora triangle and get Lily’s pregnancy out of the way, so she can fit into the dress she wears at Barney’s wedding. The show’s been signed for two seasons, so they have to fill 44 episodes.
At this point the mother is nothing more than a framing device that holds the storyline together. In terms of the storyline, it really doesn’t make any difference if we don’t meet the mother until the final scene of the final episode when Ted finally says, “And that, kids, is the story of how I met your mother.”
I haven’t liked a single one of Ted’s girlfriends and Victoria definitely tops the list. She’s got crazy eyes or something. Maybe if I saw the actress in something else…
That’s seems to happen a lot with ensemble casts. The “main” character is the usually the least compelling.
I like her on HIMYM, but not on Warehouse 13, though she was kinda badass…
It’s kind of funny, she used to be on “Good Morning Miami” (a horrible show except for Jere Burns) and she looked completely different. She was the standard cute skinny actress type, not your more normal-bodied like she has been on HIMYM.

I don’t care for your tone…
I can’t really explain why, but i think she is stunning… oddly enough i think its her eyes that i like
I’ve thought all along it was Robin and last night’s episode convinced me. When the bride asked to see Ted - Robin is going to have almost the exact same panicked conversation as Barney did.
Maybe you missed the glowing hypnodiscs when the camera was looking at her straight on.
“The eyes are the windows to the skull, my friend.”

At Punchy’s wedding, Punchy’s father leap up to defend his son (after the father-in-law got nasty). Didn’t we hear Punchy talking about his father’s death last season (or was that a very brief flashforward)?
Easter Egg from the Have You Met Ted blog - Finn translations of the weepy Mosby YouTube page:
Shmosby tarjoaa jälleen: Shmosby is catering it again.
Kun vauvani itkee, annan hänet vaimolleni, jolle kerron, että vauva vetää Mosbya: When my baby is crying I will hand him/her over to my wife telling her that the baby is doing the Mosby.
Did you catch the viewing counts on Shmosby’s sobbing videos, too? I think one was at 4.5 million, then the next one was at 5.5 million.
I have figured out who is marrying Barney! It’s quite simple, really - it’s Robin, because no other woman would put up with him.
How about another poll on how long it’ll be before Barney’s bride-to-be is revealed?
We’ll find out at the end of the season. Maybe. For Barney to recite all of his lies to Nora makes me want to believe she’s the one.
The one - crap - anyone is the one - how many for ted - Stella and his wife… and…and.
I think it will be Robin for the same reasons that **bouv **and **enalzi **laid out. Also, I just don’t see either as the type of person who really wants to settle down (i.e. book club, wine and cheese tasting, house, baby, 30 year fixed mortgage). I think their idea of a long term committed relationship is to be with someone who they can go out into the world and be awesome with 24/7.
Nora, on the other hand, struck me as a bit more traditional. In fact one of the big wedges that drove them apart was that she wanted him to meet her parents.
