How many eggs do you want?

I’m making breakfast for everyone. I’ll make eggs any way you like them, except poached, because I just can’t. Assuming you are typically hungry, how many would you like?

Will attempt a poll.

2 eggs with sides would be my usual, but I’d go for any of those choices except 1 egg alone (not enough food) and Eggs? EWWWW!!! (what is wrong with those people?)

Can easily eat 4 plus a few sides, and can probably eat as many as 6 or 7 if I’m quite hungry. I love eggs cooked most ways, especially with a runny yoke.

I’d prefer three eggs scrambled, with at least a side of buttered toast and marmalade or jam. If we’re going to add breakfast meat (streaky bacon or JD Pure Pork Sausage), two eggs are enough, either scrambled or basted.

If we’re talking Full British, with everything from kippers to black pudding, one egg sunny-side up will suffice.

I chose 4 eggs with sides, but that would mean egg whites only for me, scrambled well done. Bacon, bacon, and more bacon. Dry toast and shredded hash browns. Thanks!

Hash browns, mmmmmmmmmmm! :o

Same here, pretty much, although I’ll have a three egg omelet with my toast sometimes instead of scrambled. I assume that the OP is willing to fry up some potatoes and bacon as well as providing toast, so I’ll take two eggs over medium.

2 eggs, scrambled, with chorizo, onion and green pepper, english muffin with butter and jam, thanks.

Although, in the interests of full disclosure, as I’m writing this I’m eating a sausage patty, fried potatoes and a biscuit.

P.S: French toast is made with eggs, or am I being whooshed?

Western three-egg omelette, with bacon, onion, and green pepper. Yes!

Ham, mushroom, and cheddar cheese three-egg omelette. Also yes! :o

So you’re going to make me powdered eggs?

I meant to make that a multiple-answer poll, but alas…

So I made this question because I just ate a 4 egg omelet with cheese (nothing else) and wondered if that was weird. I could probably have a bit more, honestly. But I always hear about people wanting just one or two eggs. And eggs aren’t even a favorite of mine.

I’m trying to low carb, but if I weren’t, I also like to make breakfast sandwiches with just one egg, a sausage patty or bacon, and a slice of fried tomato or bell pepper, preferably on an English muffin.

I love making giant breakfasts on the weekends (American, English, or Eastern European style), as long as someone else does the washing after.

Two eggs with toast is my standard. Over easy, please.

Not a whoosh, exactly…when I was a kid I didn’t care much for plain eggs, but would eat half a loaf of French toast.

If I must. Why, do you really like those? :dubious:
Oh, yeah. Last week for dinner I made toad-in-the-hole for the first time. Big pan of Yorkshire pudding with embedded sausages, some whole eggs dropped in between, and served with green beans-and-mushrooms. It was glorious.

Two eggs, fried hard. No, harder than that. Sausage patties, hash browns. Buttered toast with marmalade and light sweet coffee.

Actually, I should revise that. When I’m eating breakfast out for a special occasion, it’s two eggs, rye toast, and corned beef hash.

Two scrambled eggs and some grilled tomato is my usual breakfast.

3 for me, with sides.
Going to cook some in a few minutes actually. Probably an omelet with cheese and some hot salsa. Not sure what else

Two eggs over easy, two strips of bacon or two sausage links, a piece of buttered toast for cleaning up the left over yolk and a cup of coffee. Mmm. That’s a treat.

Two eggs, over easy, two strips of bacon, a slice of toast, a small side of fresh fruit and a lovely cup of tea with milk and sugar.

I’ll wait right here!

I have to go to France some day and see how their toasters work. I tried making French toast in mine but it just made a horrible mess.
