I’ve moved about 30 times, various rooms, apartments and houses. I’ve lived in my current house the longest, 21 years.
In my life? Eight before I ever left home, if we include a college dorm. After that, somewhere around 24, although I was also in a number of temporary barracks situations in the military for up to nine months at a time. I traveled a lot during throughout my career path. I’m hoping that my last move will be to the cemetery.
4 houses
5 apartments
1 dorm
3 Houses, 2 Apartments, 2 Dorms.
Two houses, one neighborhood.
I technically lived in a dorm room for 8 months but I really just slept there between classes and went home on weekends.
3 houses and one apartment.
The house I grew up in, the apartment when I first left home and moved to the city, the house I moved to from the apartment and the house I now own.
I’m not a big mover
I come up with 43, using the following definitions:
–houses,apartments, dorms included
–either open-ended expectation, or at least three months expected temporary
–unpacked my stuff and set up housekeeping and made necessary purchases, contracts, etc.
That would be an average stay of 21 months per residence. I’m going on seven years at my current residence.
I get about 26 places total, including 9 houses, 3 dorms, and 14 apartments in 7 cities in 3 countries.
6 houses and 3 apartments since birth.
I was in a crib in the first house and have no memory of it.
I’ve only owned one house as an adult. Had three apartments before that.
6 houses - four as a 'kid (pre-high school graduation) and two as an adult.
7 apartments between.

I did a Mormon mission in Japan so there were a bunch of short stays of one to six months, but they really don’t count because I only had two suitcases.
On my mission, there was one dorm, four houses and two apartments.
