How Many National Football League Games Have You Been To?

I’ve been to two: once at Soldier Field, c. 1989. The temp at kick-off was 20F, with a 20MPH wind. I watched the better part of the game from the monitor in the men’s restroom. Bears 20, Lions 10. The other was at [at the time] the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis; the Rams beat the Bears but I don’t remember the score.

Poll to follow.

I’ve never made it to an NFL game, but I did attend one USFL game. I saw the Baltimore Stars play the New Jersey Generals.

One or two Baltimore Colts games. Four or five Seahawk games. I can’t think of any others.

Two.

Cleveland Browns in or around 1990.

Washington Redskins in or around 1954

One. 2011. I bought my family tickets for Christmas, thinking none of us had been. It turns out only my wife and I hadn’t been to one. Kind of a buzzkill, but that was made up for when the Bills beat Tebow and the Broncos 40-14.

Friends had Jets season tickets so I went to probably about 5 games with them back in the 80s. One Giants game back then when my high school band played half time. Two Giants games more recently, one in a luxury box. Games are just too expensive. Every seat for the Giants is a season ticket. So you have to go through ticket brokers.

Also went to one Jersey Generals game and saw Herschel Walker.

250+

We had season tickets for the Saints for around 10 years. I’m not much on crowds these days.

My family had season tickets to the New Orleans Saints from 86 to 96. Some of my fondest childhood and adolescent memories.

I’ve been to a couple Bears preseason games and one regular season game.

One - Jets vs Patriots on Thanksgiving of 2012. The Jets got creamed, but I got to see a guy with the same last name as me score a touchdown.

none.

I think I’ve been to 6 games. Do I get bonus points for 2 of them being Thanksgiving games in Dallas?

Not doubting you but 10 years at 8 home games is only 80 games…

I’ve been to about 20. 3 Giants games when I lived up north and 16 or 17 Panthers games the last 10 years.

One preseason Bears game, one Cardinals game, and the rest Packers. One in SD, two in Lambeau, and the rest in AZ (all against the Cards, of course). Worst one was the Sept one in Sun Devil Stadium. Try sitting on the sun-side in 110+ heat. I thought I was going to par boil. To make it worse-the Cards won. Discomfort AND humiliation!

Redskins, Cowboys, Patriots…closer to 20 than 10.

One. Lions vs. Jets. My only real memory of the game was that nose tackle Jerry Ball was taken out by a cheap shot to his knee.

One. Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving in 2006. My sister was in the color guard that was on the field with Carrie Underwood.

That was the game that TO dropped a ball into the Salvation Army Kettle as a celebration/donation.

One. Redskins at Panthers. My friend won seats in a luxury box, so all I paid was gas and parking.

Three.

  • Chargers way back in the mid 60’s, at Balboa Stadium, San Diego, when (IIRC) their logo was still a cartoon Knight with Lance on a Steed;
Q: would this have even been an NFL game?

  • Chargers vs Eagles, mid 80’s, Jack Murphy/Qualcomm stadium

  • Chargers vs Browns, early-mid 90’s, JM/Q.
