Do you have more than the standard number of nipples on your chest?
I’ve got 4.
The other two are quite a bit smaller than the main two, one is dime-sized and the other is only about as big around as a number 2 pencil. They are located about 3 inches below the main nipples. They also appear to be somewhat inverted. They don’t get hard when I’m cold, and they don’t have any sensation as far as I can tell. My non-superfluous nipples are very sensitive, though.
From what I’ve read, having superfluous nipples is a very common thing, affecting 2-3% of the population. Mark Wahlberg has a third nipple (http://itsb.ucsf.edu/~vcr/Actors7.html). I frequently see them on other people, but when I try to tell them that it’s a third nipple they usually try to dismiss it, saying that it’s just a birthmark. But I know better.
I have the usual allotment, but my wife has an extra pair on her upper abdomen below the others. I would never have noticed if she hadn’t pointed them out - they’re very tiny and similar in color to the rest of her skin. I ususally forget they’re there.
I have three total - two in the normal place and one underneath the left boob. I always thought it was a birthmark and only learned recently that it was an extra nipple. Unfortunately I get no sensation out of it at all (damn!)
I know a person with an extra, functional nipple. The nipple is functional in that it gets hard when cold. Unfortunately, it does not lactate, the bearer of said nipple being male. Darn. Woulda been a hoot if it did. But I have only two nipples. And they’re too lazy to get hard at the same time; one gets hard, and the other stays soft. Then they switch places. Stupid winking police-light nipples.
I hope what I’ve always considered a mole under my right breast is, in fact, a mole. I don’t want a third nipple. Now y’all have scared me. I’m normal, dangit, NORMAL.

I have four. The extra pair is about 5 inches below the normal pair, are small and look like moles or freckles. They have no sensitivity. My daughter also has four, and her extra pair are about halfway between her breasts and her navel. They are so small they are almost unnoticeable.
I’ve also got an extra pair about 5 inches lower. My cousin only has one on … his left side I think. But his dad, my father’s brother, has 6. 3 pairs going down his lines.
