215 milligrams - two cups of brewed coffee.
107.5mg. Just one cup of coffee. I’ve had lots of suger though. There was a sweets stall at work today. Mmmm cola bottles.
I had way more than my normal caffine intake today because I didn’t eat very much (not enough), and so over the course of the day had a litre of diet coke to keep me going (its 8pm now here). So thats 80mg.
What is interesting though is that I had 500ml of diet coke and 500ml of coke zero. The chart says that coke zero has less caffine in it than diet coke, why would that be?!
Am I right in thinking the recommended caffine intake limit is 300mg?
Used to be I’d consume two to three caffeinated sodas per day. Now that I know I’m diabetic, I’m pretty much off of soda entirely. It has probably been a couple of weeks since I had caffeine.
This morning was nearly a disaster. I went to the gas station where I get a free cuppa joe when I get gas. I guess they’d had a busy morning. The Extra Caffeine urn was empty! The Regular was empty too.
Fortunately they started the Extra Caffiene (almost started the Regular, but I put a stop to that real quick) and I got 20 oz. of the strong stuff you get before the grounds get used up.
Had a bad coffee at work, and now I have a Monster.
Drive-to-the-office days are low-caffeine days.
6mg. I just finished a Kit Kat. I consume less than 10 mg a day on average. All my caffine comes from chocolate. I hate cola and coffee and therefore can’t handle much more than that 10mg in my system. I feel really weird if I ingest much more than 100 mg.
367 mg. I had a shot in the dark (espresso poured into a coffee), then one more coffee.
Yes that’s the same as me. I found out today 80mg is my limit, I came out in sweats and was so shaky I couldn’t stand up. I know now not to have more than 500mg of diet coke. I just drink water mainly though so its nice to drink something different occasionally.
OK I was doing it wrong. I hit the “that’s enough” when I put in what I drink on a regular basis.
I’m just gonna go drink about a gallon of water now.
Opps I meant to say 500ml not 500mg and my edit had expired.
50 mg. I am estimating that my home brewed Lipton tea I just finished was in a roughly 20 oz glass. That will probably be it for the day as far as caffeine goes. You guys are crazy…
Not doing the math, but I had a 20oz Coke Zero, which I think gets me around 45mg.
I’m pregnant, so I can’t have much.
48 ounces of Diet Mt. Dew. About to get a 20 ounce bottle of Coke Zero.
Susan
(And no - I’m not vibrating from that intake. That’s normal for me)
None. I almost never have caffeine. The only time is the occasional Coke or chocolate. I never had caffeine much as a kid, so when I have it now I get very wired and then crash.
About 500mg so far. I might be having another cup later. A bit more than usual for a day off, but way less than a full day at work. Average for a work day is about double, I recon.
160mg for me, assuming lo-carb Monster has the same caffeine content as a regular Monster. I buy them by the case, and have one a day on school days, and often one when I’m studying (state-dependent learning, you know; if you take the test slightly caffeinated, then study caffeinated).
And, like Azhure, I constantly have people telling me how “that stuff” is going to kill me, while they’re sucking down their 4th quart-sized Caffè Americano for the day.
Looks like 471 for me today-three 6 ounce cups this morning and one 8 ounce in the afternoon.
One biiiiig cup of coffee, and a dr. pepper.
Total caffeine junkie here. Poison of choice: diet Coke. I drink those ginormous Double Gulps from 7-11, so I don’t know if that’s the same per ml as a can of it. I’ll guesstimate 800mg.
I’m quite surprised to see that an americano from starbucks has only 2/3 of the caffiene of one of their coffees. I’d always assumed they were even.
225mg for me today.
