Well, tommorrow we go off daylight savings time and back on standard. So how much daylight have you saved over the past 6 months? What do you plan on doing with it over the next 6 months.
I’ve been saving it up for several years, hoarding it like a string ball in my closet.
I still haven’t decided what to do with it, but it makes a damn fine night light.
Shhh, if the president finds out how much I’ve saved, he’ll want it… I want to keep mine…
I plan to auction mine off on eBay around mid-March, when it’ll be most in demand.
I tend to get up at the crack of noon. I will let you know tomorrow if there is any difference. Don’t hold your breath, though.

I always have good intentions to save some daylight, but end up frittering it away on things I don’t really need.
I’m still trying to offload all the darkness I saved up last winter. But people today, they just want daylight.
Apparently, we have a massive surplus of daylight now.
My crooked accountant squandered most of mine. Dangit.
We’ve just gone onto Daylight Saving. So far, I’ve saved an entire hour. I plan to spend it wisely.
Not nearly enough. I’d vote for 6 more months, I absolutely detest, despise, hate, loath, getting off work and it being dark out. If there was any way to have even a scrap of daylight left when I get off work, I’d be all over it.
When it’s Daylight Saving Time in Oshkosh
They never know the time in dear old Oshkosh
When the town sheik meets his passion flower
They like to punch the clock up in the town hall tower
The wives of traveling men are lonesome and neglected
Because the trains pull in before they are expected
When it’s Daylight Saving Time in Oshkosh – Oh gosh!
I’d rather be in Kalamazoo.
When it’s Daylight Saving Time in Oshkosh
They have an awful time in dear old Oshkosh
Every night when hubby locks the flat up
He puts the clock outside – and starts to wind the cat up
In every barnyard things don’t go the way they useter
They move the clocks ahead, but they can’t move the rooster
When it’s Daylight Saving Time in anyplace – Oh gosh!
I’d rather be most anyplace else.
Hate to break it to you, but it’s like paid vacation time, it doesn’t accumulate. Read your employee handbook.
None yet. Daylight saving only commenced this morning.
About four weeks so far. We start DST at the beginning of the month.
Curtains haven’t faded yet …
Posted before preview, darn it. :smack: NZ has had DST since the beginning of this month.
This thread is a semi-minor pet peeve on mine.
As the acctual amount of daylight can not either be created nor destroyed…explain what is “saved”…where it is “stored” and when we get to use it???
hmmmm?!?!

When it goes back to normal for winter, that could well be daylight robbery.
You do realize we’re making fun? Don’t you??
yes, i uderstand… :dubious:
Did my reply infer that I was not also making jest of this occurance?
