How much do you spend per week on soft drinks?

Every work day I stop in to the local convenience store during my morning break and buy a coffee and a 1 liter of Dr. Pepper, which I drink part of with lunch and the rest at the end of the day to give me that little kick to get me through.

They just recently raised the price from 99c to 1.25 (and they coyly advertise with a big sign over the refrigerator that I could get two for only 2.50!), so I spend about $6.25 per week.

I rarely buy soda, but this thread gave me a little craving, so this week: $1.29
Since moving to Seattle a little over two years ago, I’ve never bought my own coffee, though I drink ~10 cups a week. My family, for every holiday, sends me large tins of Tim Hortons coffee. My husband doesn’t drink coffee. I have three full tins to get through before my birthday in June… when I will likely get three more. No complaints, here.
Tea… we buy that bi-monthly. I don’t know how much we spend on that. I buy green tea, my husband buys wild raspberry zinger or something like that. It varies - we usually buy whatever is on sale.

So, per month, I maybe spend a couple of bucks on soda, zero on coffee.

However, tonight my FIL sent an anniversary gift (for tomorrow) of some kind of sparkling grape/apple stuff… I don’t know what the heck it was or how much it costs, but it might soon be added to our soda bill! :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t drink soda. I do drink a lot of coffee though, no idea what that weekly total would be, I don’t even really want to think about it.

A buck or two a week on tea, probably $10 each for The Highwayman and I on coffee (friday night is usually “motorcycle ride and a Starbucks” night). Diet soda probably closer to $20/week when he’s driving the car, but it goes down to about $7 a week when he’s on the bike.
