Too much, and constantly.
Literally hours a day, I’ll guess and say close to 3-4. Then some days I don’t read at all, some days it’s more like 5-6. That’s total through a 24 hr period, not all in one sitting. And that’s just the boards, then there is chat. Hoo boy.
Last night, I got home at about 9:30-10:00pm. I logged on and spent until 11:30 this morning, reading new threads, posting to some of them, looking up old ones and having myself a good chuckle. I slept until 3:30 this afternoon, woke up and logged back on. ::sigh:: No, I have no life.
Depends how busy I am at work. Usually, I have enough time to go through the Big 4 forums (fori?) - a couple of hours a day. Then at home, I have to decide between playing Diablo II and checking back here. If I give in and come back, its usually another few hours. Sad, but all that will change when school starts back up again.
Far too much but varies between 3-6 hours (over several sessions) to not at all for several days. I mostly just scan and smile to myself. Its a lot more entertaining than TV, but I cut it off anytime my sweetie says “Lets go … (whatever she wants to do)” I sure do miss some of the folks from “Nowonder” message board however. That one was very similar to SDMB and they shut down the general chat area overnight, leaving only a technical board. - They gave no excuses, and no explanation. I hope the same thing doesn’t happen here.

I’ve been known to be here four hours at one sitting. I always spend at least a couple hours every day, but usually four or five.
I have the same problem as Smeghead… Diablo II or SDMB? Hmmm…

I read this board constantly, for hours every day. I just don’t contribute that much because my opinions are either similar to everyone else’s or so farfetched that I’d probably be flamed in an instant. Very entertaining.
I’m usually on from 5:45am to about 9:00am.
I’m working, so I peruse a few threads…do a break…read a couple more threads…do another break.
So…about 3-3.5 hours a day…Monday thru Friday.
I’m with Spoofe and smeghead, DiabloII or SDMB… but when I’m at work, it’s all SDMB. Only because there’s no work at work.
All together, I spend about 3 hours a day, 5 days a week here. Mostly reading and laughing.
I never leave. Well, only to sleep. 
And when my wife is home, we spend time together. Okay, about 8 hours, more or less.
I work Monday thru Friday 8-5 and I am literally on all day long. I do a lot of work on my computer so I’m able to go in between my work and check the board off and on. Between the hours of 12-1 I answer the phones while everyone is out to lunch so I get a complete hour to read the board without any interruptions…Whoo Hooo! Weekends I try and stay away from the board but I’m usually not successful. :eek:
I don’t have a computer at home, so I can only check out the board at work. I usually pop in a few times during the day, depending on how busy I am at work. I’m most likely to post at the start of the day and around lunch, so I don’t normally post to threads that require a lot of checking throughout the day. I’d say I’m on about an hour or so per day…

I tend to go on jags. I might have a flurry of activity, like now, where I stay on for 3-4 hours or so, maybe 1 1/2 hours in the morning and then maybe 2 hours at night. Then I may not log on for a couple of months. However, when I first started here a couple of years ago, I used to be on about 5-6 hours a day, plus constant short log ons, you know, just to see if anything was happening. I always loved Cecil’s books and the board can be very addicting–And I’m always amazed how time flies here.
But when Diabo II comes out on mac…Maybe I’ll just give up sleeping.
I was on from 2am to 5am today, and that’s later than usual, but I usually am here for about 3-4 hours a day. It’s so damn addictive! Between this, ICQ, and my e-mail, the time flies, and I’m never bored.
8:30-5, Monday through Friday. Random short stints here and there some evenings and weekends, but usually not at all.
As for how much time - depends on the day. If servers are crashing throughout the county, you won’t see me post at all, though I may be able to sneak in a couple of quick reads. If things are slow, I am literally on and off the entire day.
