I guess the thing that cracks me up about the OP story is the dismbowelling part. Abduction and murder aren’t enough, she’s gotta say she was disembowelled, too.

You gotta think that the guy called the police and gave them her cell number. I mean, I guess that’s the thing to do if you’re date tells you she was disembowelled and dumped in a ditch. As opposed to just sighing that it wasn’t meant to be and getting on with your life.

If you want to define being an idiot as a mental condition…

I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt - normal people don’t do messed up stuff like this, so I’m thinking that they have something going on upstairs that makes this seem like a good idea to them. Not excusing it, just trying to find an explanation for it. Oh, I forgot about another bit in Dar’s case - she said she was being stalked, but it turns out she was writing the letters to herself. Again, not exactly normal.
