Well, that’s what he deserves for getting political news from “Cosmopolitan”.
Meh, bad candidate is bad. HD isn’t wrong to point that out, but this doesn’t really seem notable in any way in the universe of bad things that bad candidates say. I mean, the Marine comment isn’t even on the top five list of why she is a weak candidate.
But let’s take this for what it is worth: when I come across statements by conservative congressional candidates who are polling in single digits, I’ll post them to this thread. Then we can compare which bad candidates are worse.

Sara Jacobs (D) tied with crusty old marine Doug Applegate (D) for second at 11%. Mike Levin (D) at 10% also in the running.
Recall that Jacobs was a sixth place nobody at 5% when she made this ‘gaffe’. Now she has a legit shot at making the November ballot.
