There are about four online socialising spots I visit each day, multiple times a day. Most of them are also based around info-tainment of some kind. Then there are a few that I participate in less frequently (weekly or so).

Most of my internet entertainment involves the social side.

I also will comment at some sites, including YouTube and Google+, and I’m a heavy Twitter user. Though I’m not on Facebook.

Like many others, I check more often than I did before I owned a smartphone. I don’t mean to get scatological, but, well, you know…many a posting gets made while a certain daily “business” gets accomplished…

I’m thinking of taking snapshots of the results every 100 responses or so as a reference for how this tally progresses. Since it’s staying open and late-comers can be in on it as we go along it ought to be helpful in whatever attempt(s) we make to see who all is really an “active member” of the board.

That said, would anybody like to take a stab at when we will get to the 5,089 (or so) that the stats say are our Active Group? In our lifetime? Next month?

For that matter, how many will have posted to the poll by the end of today? :slight_smile:

I will probably not be around for the 24th hour of the poll (couple hours from now) so if anybody wants to do the grab at that time, it would be cool with me. :wink:

I’m in the “it depends” category, though I selected more than once per week. For me, it all depends on my workload. If things are quiet around the office, I’ll probably swing by here or one of my other regular online hangouts most days. If things are busy around the office, I can go weeks without a visit. I currently don’t have internet access at my house so I almost never visit outside business hours.

Yeah. Short-sighted of me for sure. Sorry not to have all options covered better. I would certainly average over 10 times per day myself.

What’s going to be fun at some point will be to look at people’s profiles and compare their
Posts Per Day: 5.16 (mine just now)
with how they have responded to this poll. :smiley:

To be fair though, in my case especially, that average is not telling the real story, because it includes periods of months in a row where I didn’t even log in!

On weekdays I practically live here: I check in several times a day, as part of mini mental breaks while I’m working or when things are quiet (yes, my boss knows; no, she doesn’t care).

Evenings and weekends, though, I rarely visit.
