True dat! Days will go by with no posts from me but I almost always check in several times a day.
I only recently signed up to be able to post, but I’ve been reading it for months. I check in several times day, usually while waiting for my computer to do something.
I have to check in at the MMP daily, or they’ll stop using the coasters. 
I’ll scan for topics that might interest me or check to see if anyone responded to any comments I’ve made. But I’m not as bad as I used to be. In fact, I’ve turned the computer off after an hour and that was that. Still, I do check in at least a couple times every day.
Once a day. From when I get up to going to bed. Only breaks for errand running.

Can someone who’s here less than once a week truly be considered a Doper?, damn dilettantes
Only once a day, usually in the evenings, after work, frequently interrupted by life of a married man, but still, even if not logged in I read between 3-6 hours of, well everything on here really.
Sigh, its this or actual books, and this doesn’t clutter up the home as much.
We won’t have a good sample of people who check in once a week, a month, or a year, until this poll is open for some time.
Now that I’m not on dial-up any longer, say twice a day. Once in the morning and sometimes at night.
I typically only check in once every few months, but I’ve been a member for 13 years and have far too many posts, so I would think I would count.
Great point. I left it open forever just to see how it will build over time. After we get 100 or more responders we ought to be able to figure what the real population here is. The fudge factor would involve a guess as to how many who read here just refuse to post.

I’d say about once a day on average. Sometimes more, sometimes not at all. This place keeps me sane.
Yes, too much. Kids off to school. Check. Have coffee. Check. Think about something I wanted to say, back to the Dope. We’ll go with multiple times per day.
The SDMB is my daily dose of sanity in a sea of irrationality and nonsense. As the poet says, “I come here often. I visit it like a temple.”

When I’m at work, every fifteen minutes to an hour, depending on how busy things are here. On my weekend, almost never.
Certainly do! Willy is bringing a wheelbarrow full for all the little cheeren. Whatever kind you want, too.
Probably once an hour (at least).
