I shower every morning except on days off, when I may get around to it in the afternoon. Shampoo and conditioner every time, Neutrogena anti-residue once a week to really clean the hair.
I change my underpants every day, different bra every few days, depending on sweatage.
I brush my teeth every morning, but I know I should do it at night too. (And I should Listerine, and ACT Fluoride rinse, but I’m too lazy.)
I shave my legs and armpits when I am going to wear shorts or when armpit hair gets disturbing. Pluck errant darks when I notice them. Trim pubic hair when it gets disturbing.
I do laundry when everything is dirty. Up to every three to four weeks usually.
I scrub my shower stall every six months or if an overnight guest is coming.
Toliet gets scrubbed when guests are coming over. Bathroom sink when it starts to bother me.
I do dishes when they fill up the sink (up to a week or two).
I change the sheets on my bed when I do laundry or one extra time in between. Celibate, no problem.
My apt is always neat, but not always clean. I vacuum when guests are coming over or when I have slept late and have the energy.
Shower - Usually once a day. Sometimes twice if I am working out or get dirty
Brush Teeth - At least twice a day.
Laundry - Hamper gets emptied and washed when it gets full. Usually 3 loads.
shave - Depends. Usually every 2 days.
Sinks, toilets and tubs - Get cleaned if I notice any grunge. They should always look clean.
Clothes - New clothes every days, except possibly pants. May last two days.
Sheets - Every couple of weeks at most.
Pillows on bed - Wash in super hot water (scalding if possible) and bleach every month-ish.
Dishes - The sink shouldn’t have dishes in it. They always go into the dishwasher. It runs every couple of days.
Vacuum - Do a solid house-wide vacuuming every week. I will do single room vacuuming between these times though.
wash my car - whenever it is noticebly dirty. I usually give it a good solid clean out (Vacuum, wipe dash) and wax about 3-4 times a year.
Scoop out the cat litter - Usually a couple times a week. He lets me know if it needs to get done any more.
Shower - At least once a day, sometimes more if I’m bored or feeling gross.
Shampoo - Every day.
Brush teeth - Twice a day, floss once.
Bedsheets - Get changed once a week.
Dishes - As soon as the sink is full.
Toilet/bathtub - At least once a week, or any time they look grungy.
Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and so forth are all done as needed.
Laundry - As needed. I don’t have my own washer and dryer, so this is a pain.
Underclothes/socks - Never wear these more than once. If I change clothes during the day, I change my underwear and socks, too. The only clothing I’ll wear more than once between washings is my pajamas, lounge pants, t-shirts etc.
Shower - once a day, twice if I go to the health club
Shampoo - once a day
Brush teeth - at least twice a day, often three times
Underwear - panties onces a day, bra once a day most times, sometimes “reuse” - separate bra and panties for workouts that only get worn once
socks - it’s summertime, so almost never. But when I wear them, one day’s use is enough
shave - pits daily, legs once or twice a week in summer, once every week or two in winter
dishes - most things loaded into the dishwasher immediately, run it when it gets full (once a week or so)
general cleaning - I have someone come in and clean every two weeks and sometimes do minimal cleaning in between
linens - minimum every two weeks, much more often when I’m sharing the bed
laundry - I have a washer and dryer in my condo, so I just do it whenever I need to - a couple of loads a week, I guess
jeans - I’ve been known to wear the same pair for a couple/three days if I don’t spill anything on them and if I’m just lazing around
I almost always shower at least once a day, twice or more if I work up a sweat after my first shower–depends on my work and exercise schedules for that day.
I change my socks and underwear everyday, or if I’m at home alone all day I’ll do without socks and underwear.
I brush my teeth at least once a day, often twice, sometimes thrice–depends on what I eat, I guess.
I shave almost every day in which I deal with the public.
My wife does the laundry and usually the tub and toilet (no, I’m not a barbarian, I do plenty of other chores). I don’t know the schedule if one in fact exists.
The machine does the dishes . . . whenever.
I change the sheets . . . whenever. At least once a week. Whenever they get dirty or whenever it occurs to me, “Hey, it’s been a while since the sheets got changed.”
I give my dog a bath about once a week.
I clean my baby about seventeen times a day, but it doesn’t matter–continuous drool, frequent bowel movements, and the joys of flinging baby carrot mush everywhere pretty much keep infant cleanliness a lost cause.
For the most part, anywhere in my house that isn’t kept presentable for company is cluttered but hygeinic (sp?). I can never find anything, but I know the dishes are safe to eat off of.
Shower - In the morning, before work. Maybe a soak in the jacuzzi in the evening.
Brush Teeth - At least twice a day.
Laundry - About 2-3 times a week.
shave - underarms every day, legs every so often (my mother grows no hair on her legs and I only grow a very little).
Sinks, toilets and tubs - Once a week, no matter what.
New socks, underwear, etc, every day.
Sheets - Every week.
Dishes - Wash and dry after dinner and put away.
Vacuum - About every 1-3 days.
Tibs.
Wow, I didn’t know that people had such set schedules for all of those things.
I have gotten a bit more slack in the last few years, than I ever was before.
Shower - almost every day, will occasionally skip a day, if I’m in a “I don’t care mood”, or have been too busy with the baby to manage one before it’s time to pick the older kids up at school.
Brush teeth - once a day, occasionally twice, floss near daily, and I try remember the plax, and ACT every day, but it works out closer to every 2 - 3 days.
Shave - pits, every other day, legs, when I have time.
Laundry - an ongoing, vicious cycle. If I didn’t have kids, it’d probably be once or twice a week.
Underwear - daily, socks, daily, if I wear them at all.
Jeans - once. The only exception to this is the morning rush to get the kids to school on time. I will generally throw on the clothes I wore the day before, for the jaunt, and then do my shower, and put on fresh clothes after I return home.
General house cleaning - I used to be highly perfectionistic in regards to this, I’ve adopted far more relaxed standards over the last couple of years, that I am trying deperately to change to somewhere between the two extremes. Give me a couple of months, when the baby starts crawling, and I’ll be back to vaccuuming daily.

Shower - every morning. I have short hair and I need to wash it every morning so that I can blow-dry and style it. I could just wash my hair, but I might as well shower at the same time.
Shaving - recently it’s been every day because I’ve been temping in offices with a dress code. Most of the time and during the school year it’s every three or four days or whenever I notice that it’s getting gross.
Making bed - almost never. Well, I kind of pull the sheets up and make sure they’re not in a ball in the middle of the bed. I have a large bed in a heavy wooden frame (can’t pull it away from the wall), so it’s awkward to make it and tuck the sheets in the side against the wall.
** Brushing teeth** - twice a day. Until recently it was just once a day in the morning, but I got a mouthguard/splint to wear at night for TMJ and I don’t want to get cavities from having all the bacteria smooshed against my teeth by the mouthguard.
Laundry - Whenever the hamper gets full or I need to wash something in particular. Usually ends up being every two or three days.
Washing Dishes - My dishwasher is “Mom” (college student living at home - it’s a pretty good perk).
Jeans - Well, I don’t wear jeans much, but I usually only wear pants twice or nice office skirts two or three times before I wash them.
Socks - I almost never wear socks in the summertime, but in the winter I wear a clean pair every day. If I work out or they get sweaty or something then I need a clean pair.
Shower 2-3 times a day (run daily and work in hospital)
Wash hands countless times (see above)
Brush teeth twice a day
Fresh clothing every day (including socks)
Shave 2-3 time per week (face)
I clean my bathroom once a week
And…until school starts again, mom takes care of the laundry
[ul][li]shower- once a day in the morning (unless its a lazy weekend)[/li][li]shaving- once a day (after showering)[/li][li]underthings- once a day (unless physical activity requires otherwise)[/li][li]laundry- every two weeks or so (mostly “whites”)[/li][li]jeans- a weeks worth of nonconsecutive wearings[/li][li]sheets- couple times a month (result of morning showers as opposed to evening)[/li]hand washing- whenever the bugs come back… (somebody had to say it)[/ul]
Yay! An interesting thread!
I shower every day. If I ride my exercise bike during the week (after work), I’ll shower before going to bed. I’ll still take a shower the following morning. I wash my hair every day.
Clean bra and panties every day.
Teeth get brushed usually twice a day. Always every morning, and most of the time before bed. I will sometimes mouthwash during the day if I’ve had onions or garlic with lunch. I carry a purse size bottle with me every day.
Pits and bikini area get shaved every day, and legs get shaved every day during summer, every 2-3 days during winter.
I do laundry at least twice a week. I have 3 people in my family. I will wash jeans after 2 wearings, unless they are smoky from going to a bar. Everything else gets washed (or dry cleaned) after one wear.
My house get cleaned every Friday (by me). I do the toilets and tubs probably every two weeks. I surface clean every single day.
I wash the sheets on my bed about every two weeks. Dishes are loaded immediately into dishwasher, and ran through about every 3-4 days.
I shower at least once a day, twice if I need it in the evening. Also, I often have a bath at night (mainly to relax). I wash my hair every morning.
I rarely shave my legs. I am after all a guy. I shave my face once every other day (It’s odd - Since my experiments in depilatories not only do I not really need to shave daily, it doesn’t work properlywhen I do).
I brush my teeth twice a day minimum. Three times if I have something with a strong aftertaste for lunch.
Change my underwear and socks daily. Shirts tend to get worn 2-3 days depending on cleanliness and how frequently I can be bothered to do laundry at the time. Jeans can be worn for up to a week depending on similar factors.
Laundry. Usually every week. Sometimes it slips and can be as infrequently as every two weeks.
Bathroom: I personally don’t have to clean it. It’s given a superficial clean daily, a serious clean weekly (at least in principle).
My room tends to be on the messy side, usually books or paper (sometimes clothes on the floor). My bed is always made if I haven’t used it in the last half hour.
I bath regularly and such brush teeth… change cloths… but if I am unhappy or upset in any way… I stop shaveing… something about me… even a little stubble and I look like a lunitic… and people leave me alone… unless I am perfectly clean shaven I look absolutly insaine. I keep my hair real messy… if I am clean shaven it looks good… otherwise… I look like a psycho killer… a helpful thing to know… as I can change my total look from innosent weakling to someone that looks like they would eat your skin… in a day or two
I shower once or twice a day, depending on what I did the day. Brush my teeth after meals - always. Wash hands after touching anything icky. Laundry is done once a week. Shave about once or twice a week - the face and torso, because my own particular brand of peachfuzz is ugly.
Change clothing every day, socks every few days (I have a habit of wearing two pairs at once, so when one gets dirty, I just switch them around, and all’s good). Never make my bed, buy my room is always sort of clean, so I don’t have to worry about that. Bathroom is someone else’s problem, but that gets cleaned about once a week.
Slovenly college student checking in.
Shower: Once a day. In the morning. I’ll skip a day every once in a while.
Brush Teeth: Once a day. at night. Floss. Use listerine.
Underwear: Every day. Bras can be worn 2 or 3 times, unless it’s particularly hot and I’m sweating a lot.
Shave: Once a week, underarms and legs. I’m blonde, and no one gets close enough to notice anyway.
Laundry: As infrequently as possible. (It’s kinda expensive on a school kid budget.) Usually around every 2/3 weeks. Jeans don’t need to get washed unless you’ve actually spilled something on them.
Sheets: Ummm… Every couple of months? Yesyes… I know it’s gross… :o
Toilet: Every couple of weeks
General cleanliness: I usually make my bed. Everywhere else tends to be quite cluttered (books, papers, etc.) I wash my dishes as soon as I’m done with them. I live in a pit of a college dorm anyway, so I tend not to be too motivated too keep things clean. What’s the point when everything looks crappy anyway?
Shower Usually twice a day (it’s summer in Texas doncha know)
Underclothing We don’t need no stinkin’ panties, I HATE underwear! Bra: Every other day.
Teeth twice a day.
Shaving legs and pits every day unless I’m waiting for it to grow out for waxing…the kitty gets shaved every other day.
**Laundry ** 2 or 3 times a week depending if SO is home
Sheets at least every week if not twice a week.
Dishes twice a week.
Toilet, bathtub you’d have to ask Maria, my bi-monthly maid.
House: Full of clutter
Shower: Every workday morning. I’ll skip it on the weekends if I’m not going out.
Brush Teeth: Once a day, in the morning. Floss twice a week. Use Listerine daily.
Socks: 1 or 2 wearings, depending on sweat factor.
Underwear: Clean every day. Bra comes off when I get home, new one every week or so.
Jeans: 2-3 wearings, with no spills
Shave: Rarely. Underarms about once a month, legs about twice a year. I’m not very hairy, and it gives me a rash!
Laundry: Once a week, family of three, about 4-5 loads.
Sheets: Once a month…
Toilet/sink: Every couple of weeks
Tub: once a month
Dishes: every couple of days
Shower Every night except the nights when I don’t have to work the next day, then I will shower in the morning. On work mornings I wash my hair in the kitchen sink.
Brush teeth 3 times a day. Morning, after dinner, before bed. I chew Trident sugarfree gum all day, that is suppose to help with cavities.
Socks and underwear Fresh pair every morning.
Shaving I never really shave but once a month. I have a mustache and goatee and once or twice a week I run my beard trimmer over the cheeks to take off the long hairs. When I do shave I use a 30 year old Remington electric I paid a $1 for at a garage sale 10 years ago.
**Laundry, kitchen, bathroom, house. ** Never. Between the wife and the two 20 something daughters living at home, they do it all. With the 3 grandkids also living here, the house doesn’t stay as clean as either me or my wife would like it but I’m not going to kick them out. Sambone, Weechie, and Jojobean will always have a roof over their head as long as I’m around.
Shower: daily in warm-weather, every other day in cool weather.
Socks and undies: change daily. Slightly more, since I change socks when I get home.
Teeth: once a day.
Shave: daily, even though my facial hair grows very slowly.
Laundry: once a week.
Sheets: once a month. Maybe two months.
Jeans: anywhere from once to five times. It depends on whether I was outside walking around all day or sitting in front of the TV for four hours.
Everything else is pretty much when I feel it’s needed. I’m pretty careful about personal hygeine, but not a great housekeeper.
I admit to being a neat/cleanliness freak, right off the bat.
Bathe: Usually once a day, sometimes twice if I feel grimy after work. But at least once, unless I’m really, really sick and can’t drag myself out of bed.
I wash my hair every single day. Otherwise it gets weird kinks from sleeping on it and looks oily.
I shave my underarms every day (and use deodorant every day), I shave my legs mostly every day in the summer, unless I’m in a rush. I shave my bikini line every three days.
I brush my teeth three times a day and floss twice. I also gargle with Listerine.
I change my socks daily, my underwear twice a day, but only because I wear satin undies during the day but like to sleep in cotton undies and a tank top. So I change before bed.
I do laundry every week. I usually wear pants twice before washing them. Shirts I will wear again only if I am bumming around the house pre-shower in them. PJ bottoms, also for bumming in the house, I’ll wear three or four times before throwing them in the wash pile.
Now, the sheets issue - I absolutely have to change my bed clothes every week, my pillowcases every three days or so. I hate dirty bed clothes. I have a down quilt, which I wash every two months. I put quilt covers on the quilt - they are super easy to wash (just like sheets) and I have five of them, so it’s not a hassle. I strip my bed every Friday or Saturday, depending on my work schedule, and wash the dirty linens with my laundry later in the week, but I refuse to sleep on sheets that are grimy. Do you know how much dead skin you shed in between those sheets? If I have sex, I change the sheets the very next day.
