I’m not a 25 year old guy (I’m a 21 year old guy) and I’d be more than happy with once a week.

Don’t worry about it. I’m a 25 year old guy and I think I’m happy with once a month. But keep in mind, it’s different when you have an SO and therefore, someone who’s “right there”. When you have to actually go out and get it, it might seem more worthwhile to just take matters into your own hands.
