This thread was started just a couple weeks after my 57th birthday.
Turned 58 on 7 January.
15
Turned 33 the day before.
Eh, fine. 35 two months ago. Whatever. At least I’m older than that young rascal Ambivalid, talk some sense into him. I stopped counting after … I can’t remember when. Probably after I hit 30 I just stopped counting.
Fifty for me the day before that.
poll was made on 06-02-2011.
answer for that date.
Can’t remember. These used to be all orange groves. I was 29.
I was 43 when the poll was created. 45 now…
I’m 47
27
I’m not answering for that date! (my poll response would be the same either way)
52 now.
Is thread gonna be like the “Rudolph” thread?
32 next month. I still remember thinking how old I’d be in 2015 (the future year Marty travels to in Back to the Future II) and how impossible the awesome touch panels on the Enterprise in Star Trek: TNG were.
2015 is in two years and I do NOT feel old (often) and I’m posting this with a hand held, touch sensitive computer(smart phone.)
Life is weird, no?
The leaders:
JoThrive (Mrs), 1926, and still posting
Klondike Geoff, August 1927 (not heard of in about three years)
Gymnopithys, December 1927, and still kicking
monavis (Mrs) “in her 80’s” (in 2011), and still posting
**
Klondike Geoff**'s last post was January 9, 2013. Perhaps you meant 3 months?
That’s not an unusual amount of time between posts for Geoff.
Somehow I’ve missed his posts for a long time.
Thanks for the good news.
Have you ever considered an “Ask the older guy” type thread? I mean, I’m about half your age, and the world has changed massively in my time, and it’d be very interesting to get a perspective on things from someone who, frankly, has a bit more perspective than most.
There really just has to be somebody who has yet to vote in this poll! It’s been stuck at
for weeks!
Does a voter count of 800 or more cause a rift in the space-time continuum or what?
