A friend just got an ASUS G75VX 17.3" (1 TB, 2.4 GHz, 8 GB) Notebook used, on which her local computer service then installed Windows 8. The techs gave it a clean bill of health but now she notices a blue tint to the background she wants to fix. How does she do this? Thanks.
Microsoft has a toolfor that.
Also, a lot of video boards have their own utilities for adjusting color, contrast, gamma, etc.
It may be overkill, but I like using a program called f.lux, which adjust the color temperature of your screen. It has both daytime and nighttime settings.
I’ve never had a calibration wizard ever satisfactorily deal with this stuff, unless I cheat–similar to how poorly the ClearType tuner works.
