How to find songs you barely remember...

I’m looking for a song which I just barely remember and I was wondering if anyone knew any good sites to look at which might help me.

On the off chance that someone might actually know the song, here’s all I can tell you:

I heard the song only a few times from a friend’s CD. I have no idea what the CD/Song/Artist is called. I also have very few recollections of lyrics. All I remember is the kicking tune…which is no good at all.

Lyrics I do know (that I think come from the chorus:

“…it’s all up inside his head…”

“…when you jump everybody('s?)…”

I know, it’s pathetic, isn’t it? Anyway, the song is an upbeat, lively pop type song, not terribly lo-fi, but a little more towards that than regular pop. I heard this tune in '98. From what I remember of it, “Jump” seemed to be an important lyric.

Anyway, hopefully someone will know where to search for these phrases.

I found this on a Google search. It’s a CD review at http://famous.fateback.com/adam/2000/the_livid-king_of_the_castle.html and has the following review of one track.

The review is for The Livid - King of the Castle. Don’t know if that helps you or not but it’s the closest I’ve found.

I can’t be sure if this is the song, the lyrics mentioned do have the correct meter, but I’m still not sure.

I’ve done 1001 searches for any further information about the band, but still no luck. I’ll just have to keep trying.

Ah…as I feared. I managed to ahem acquire a copy of this song: Denial by The Livid.

And it’s not the song.

The song I remember was very light, bouncy pop-y. If you know what I mean. A summer song. This was a rock song. Not a bad one, but not what I was hoping for.

Ah well, carry on the eternal search…
