How to reply to multiple comments in one post?

Instead of making a hash of a thread by replying to multiple people individually how do you quote several people in one reply?

I hope that makes some kind of sense…thank you!

Click on “Reply” in each post. They’ll all line up in the box. If you want to reply to part of a post, highlight and click the “Quote” button attached to the highlighted portion.

Ah OK, thank you!

What the esteemed @running_coach meant to say in slightly more detail was:

Click the [Reply] button for the first post you want to reply to. Then click the little speech balloon icon at the upper left of your reply box to import that post’s text into yours.

Repeat the above 2-step procedure for each post you want to reply to in turn, being sure to leave your typing cursor at the bottom of the growing post as you go along.

Once that’s all done, insert your pearls of wisdom between the various chunks of their prose found within the [quote] [/quote] tag pairs.

If you’re on a device that supports it, you can highlight the text that you want to quote. Click the Reply button under the post (it might just be a curled arrow). Go to the next post and do the same thing. And so on.

OK, thanks to both of you!

Make sure to have a blank line between each of the replies and the quotes.

Also, if you find a second post to reply to shortly after you’ve already posted your first reply, you can edit your own first reply and paste the second quote into it. This only works if the edit time hasn’t run out yet.

I see, thank you!
