As I’m sure we all know by now, Trump allegedly signed out of the hospital to do a (as CNN put it) joyride around Washington, to show everyone who great he feels.
I personally think that was a stunt double in the SUV, and if Trump’s illness was fake like some people are speculating it is, that would be as easy to lie about as the moon landing.

Nah. It’s too much exactly what he would do. He would absolutely think that driving by and waving at his fawning followers is worth putting more Secret Service Agents at risk by making them ride around in a car with him while he’s spewing out virus particles. I can’t imagine him approving a stunt double, both because he wants all the adoration, and because he thinks he has the power, personally, to bestow, I don’t know, something like a blessing, on his followers

My evidence-free theory: He meant to go back to the White House, but only got one block when he suddenly felt faint or sick and they had to take him back to the hospital.
Hey, it’s happened to me that I go out when I’ve been sick and only make it a block then turn around and go back home and back to bed.
I think the karmically happiest part of this event is that the largest obstacle to Trump receiving quality care is … Trump himself; his beastly personality and his pitiful judgment. As demonstrated by the limo ride around town, but there just has to be lots more of the same idjit dynamic going on where we can’t see.
The fact his actions of the last 9 months contributed so heavily to the fact he got infected in the first place is nice and all, but this last is the karmic shit-cherry which he himself has placed on the whole karmic shit-sundae.
How will he deal with it?
He will die from it.
I certainly think his chickens have come home to roost, but I’m not happy about him exposing so many others. I feel particularly incensed about him exposing Secret Service Agents, who literally have to be close to him, and people like the debate attendees who are not his supporters. I feel less so about his own supporters, because they are making their own questionable choices with predictable results. I don’t wish ill on anyone, but this was about the most predictable case of Covid ever.
Holy shit, you may have nailed it. Within a day, he is back in the White House, exposing staffers, agents, and residence workers.
Now that he’s back at the WH, I think I called it pretty well in my prior post.
He’s now his health’s own worst enemy. Which is good news for the rest of us.
