I heard disappointment seemed to be the common reaction to the pilot episode, so I thought I’d check back in with folks after a couple of weeks to see if the show’s getting any better.
What’s your take on it so far? Good, bad, or meh?
I like it so far. Although the second episode feels a little bit more like “part two of a two hour pilot” then an actual second episode. They don’t seem to be spinning out mysteries faster than they are answering them. Some people don’t like the time jumping aspect, but I think it works.
Yeah it’s only been two weeks = Two episodes.
The word is, as far as ratings go, it’s exactly what NBC wanted [and frankly, needed]
But that means it’s pandering to the lowest common denominator. Real annoying for anyone who likes to think… or think in linear thoughts. [As a matter of fact, not spoiler, the show uses time skips [X Y earlier captions] A LOT. But my beef with that is in the thread already.
