I bet I'm the only person on this board who likes...

My problem with Denny’s has always been not that the food sucks (but let’s not pretend it’s good either), but that the service is universally awful and the food is overpriced for what it is. If it came out fast and cost half as much, I’d be there all the time too.

As long as you don’t like him more than you like Curly, I doubt you’re lonely in that at all.

Ah, looks like I’ll have to try harder then.

Anyone else like…
-washing dishes by hand?
-Erol Alkan?
-the Beatles’ Old Brown Shoe? (it’s one of my favorite Beatles songs)
-the Manic Street Preachers album Journal for Plague Lovers?
-the Matthew Good Band album Last of the Ghetto Astronauts?

I would have guessed I was the only person on the board who liked shape note but I used Google and found a whole (admittedly, brief) thread about it here.

Oh, and in response to the discussion about “We Built This City” - I absolutely love it, fondly remember dancing around to it as a kid and still think it’s a great song. But I bet I’m not the only one.

I like mango sherbet with chili powder and salt. Similarly, lime sherbet with cumin+salt is good as well.

I like Shemp more than Curly. Waaay more than Curly.

I don’t eat there often because there is none near me but the best pancakes I ever ate were at a Dennys in PA. They also have my favorite hash browns.

I bet I’m the only person who likes…

Spankies!!!

…deep-fried guinea pig.

I like it. Solid pop song. I could swear we had a recent thread here and I was surprised to find a lot of people liking the tune.

Don’t be silly. Lots of people love thunderstorms.

Oh, I got one:

I don’t like, I LOVE the movie Hudson Hawk.

I don’t know what that is but I’m in.

You lose on the soy part. I could never stand the taste of regular milk.

Bunned popcorn is foul though.

I like sardines in spaghetti. I doubt anyone else would eat that.

Not at all. It’s called pasta con le sarde. Yummy.

I bet I’m the only person on this board who likes Casino Royale with David Niven & co., and thinks that continuity demanded the franchise be shuttered with the film’s release.

Nope - I really like it too. So much, in fact, that I haven’t bothered to see the new version, as I’m absolutely certain that it will suck in comparison to the original.

Yes, regular blackpepper.

Mind you I like spicy foods generally.

I have admitted this here before so I’m not afraid to say it again…
I bet I’m the only person on this board who likes…

Leonard Part 6

In addition to that, I actually like a lot of the SyFy channel movies.
I love Enya.
Pepper and chocolate is one of the most surprisingly pleasant food combinations I have ever encountered (jalapeno and hot fudge sauce on vanilla ice cream).

I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I’m sure I’m one of the few who actually like supermarket sheet cake, with extra frosting. I’ll take the corner piece, the one with the big flower…

I have always wanted to try chocolate with cayenne - probably closer to the Mayan (Aztec?) original.

I’ve eaten chili-flavoured chocolate. Kinda gingery flavour, would try it again.

I’m with you on all but SyFy movies & I don’t think I can work up the nerve to try jalapeno and hot fudge sauce on vanilla ice cream.

Everything else, tho- YES!
