I bet I'm the only person on this board who likes...

Yum yum!

I prefer the Original scent in almost anything scented.

Diet sodas and most food is better at room temp.

I like regular TVs better than any of the newer mutations.

I was picked for Grand Jury duty, it lasted two months, and was an extremely educational, interesting, and gratifying experience. We got to hear the charges in all sorts of cases, from mundane to horrifying, and vote whether or not to indict. (And we helped to put away a child murderer, details of which still haunt me today. That was a real bonding experience - the D.A. took us all out to dinner to thank us for our fortitude in hearing one horror after another, day after day. But that was special, usually the cases were about cheap thieves, shifty used car salesmen, and various forged checks.)

I’m probably the only one on this board who likes Michelle Rodriguez, both as an actress and as a hot woman.

I think she looks hot sometimes, but she’s got to be one of the 10 worst successful actors of all time. She makes Keanu Reeves look like Sir Lawrence Olivier.

I don’t have time to read them all, but two quick ones: jsgoddess I am a big fan of the Carpenters and that is one of my favorites by them.

Also, I like cheese puffs better if I leave them open for a few days and they have time to get a little stale.

I bet I’m the only person on this board who likes cottage cheese on pizza.

Eats vegetables from a can. (I haven’t tried soup from a can, but it sounds intriguing.)

She suited her roles in movies like Resident Evil and Avatar. She’d be horrible in serious psychological drama, but I think she gets the job done as Action Girl.

I would totally eat cottage cheese on pizza! No veggies from a can, though!

I prefer almost everything unscented. The whole world chokes me to my knees on a daily basis.

I bet I’m the only person who prefers to watch movies at home, mostly for that reason. A movie theater is nothing but a big room full of funk.

Dried out curry.

Sugar Sugar by the Archies.

Pepper in drinking chocolate.

Thunderstorms.

Sorry, Lust4Life, but I enjoy Sugar Sugar, would enjoy thunderstorms if I didn’t own a neurotic dog, and depending on what kind of pepper in drinking chocolate you mean, might enjoy pepper in drinking chocolate. (Chillies in hot cocoa, yes, not in chocolate milk. Haven’t tried black pepper in either, but I am a big black pepper fan.)

Enuma Elish, who DOESN’T eat black olives straight from the can? Ditto baby corn. Mmm, baby corn.

That’s intriguing, I’ll give that a go some time. Just regular black pepper? Hopefully it’s one of those shouldn’t-work-but-really-does things like strawberries and pepper. Or strawberries and balsamic vinegar.

I’ve always heard that’s good but I’ve been afraid to try it. It sounds horrid.

Oh, you should definitely try it. The pepper one is the most surprising - a real weird but great pleasure taste sensation. It’s like your tastebuds and brain have an expectation of taste, and then it is confounded in a glorious way. It’s certainly worth sacrificing one strawberry for. The vinegar one works too, but in a different way, I reckon the extra acidity and fruit tones of the vinegar (you need decent stuff) hightens the perception of the esters in the strawberry. It’s all very subjective though.

Incidentally, after a very sunny May and June here, followed by a warm-but-very-wet July, the strawberry plants in my garden have been remarkably bounteous this year.

pepper on cantalope!

i love sugar sugar by the archines since the day i heard it.

Are olives vegetables? Don’t they grow on trees? Nevermind - it doesn’t matter because I eat them from the can too, along with green beans, peas, peas and carrots, carrots, artichoke hearts, black beans, corn, asparagas, beets, tomatos, potatos, and whatnot.

Why? Two reasons. I like them cold and eating out of the can creates fewer dishes to wash.

‘Grandma’ perfume. Everything now is melon-berry-cucumber-banana Bath & Body Works spray, but I search out samples online of Vol de Nuit, Diorissimo, Ma Griffe, and Tweed. For nostalgic reasons and out of historical interest - there will never be perfumes like them, ever again. (Acantha, please be assured I would never drench myself in this stuff to inflict on the innocent public!).

Sugar, Sugar is one of my most favorite songs, ever!

I just thought of another while I was eating there…

I bet/know I’m the only person on this board who loves/enjoys the food at Dennys.

Seriously, I’ve never seen so much Dennys-hate in one place before as I have here. I seem to remember one topic where people were bashing it in just about every post.

So yeah, I surmise that I’m the only one here who really enjoys Dennys (enough to eat there once a month or so).

I like Shemp.
