I like the song “Midnight at the Oasis.” Good guitar, good vocals.
There was a novelty line of perfumes from a company called Demeter a while back (they might still be around for all I know), and gasoline was one of them. Liking the smell of gasoline is a lot more common than you would think.
Mothballs, you might be on your own, though.
For mine, I am going with runny soft-boiled eggs mixed with mashed saltine crackers. My mom used to make it for me when I was a kid and I still like it as comfort food. I’ve never met anyone else who even heard of this dish, much less enjoyed it.
