Nuts the HFH has been known to do that, well except she will run the washer.
But she will load up the washer and dryer and go out for the day because as you know, nobody else ever needs to use them. :rolleyes:
This is why Tuesday is laundry day, it’s the one day of the week she can’t use the washer and dryer, otherwise she would use them all 7 days. She will wash one sheet at a time, one pair of pants at a time, etc.
She did it to mom one day and mom took her clothes out of the dryer and laid them on top of it. Then the HFH got mad at mom for not folding them and/or putting them on hangers. .
Well, I didn’t raise her.
So the house I put the offer on is now listed as under contract, but I don’t know it it’s MY contract or not. You’d think they’d say something before changing the status but it is the government so who knows?
I sent a text to the realtor but no answer yet.
I got TacoHell for Sah-son yesterday and I think we got a free meal. I didn’t get a transaction text and there’s no deduction out of my account. However, sometimes the charge doesn’t show up for a day or two so who knows. Should I call them or accept as a Karmic gift?
I am still waiting. Our offer expires in four hours. I don’t want to be that pain in the ass who calls the realtor, but it’s driving me completely insane.
I’m used to housemates who wash stuff then don’t take it out- the machine here is s…l…o…w, and people are busy, so they stick it in when they’re due back in a few hours, and sometimes stuff happens, and it gets left in.
Everyone else does seem to get that the correct response to getting in and finding your stuff no longer in the machine is “Oops, sorry about that, thanks for taking it out.” It’s the fact that he doesn’t actually use it that bewilders me.
Anyway, the ways of Geoff are beyond my skills to comprehend, I should be used to that by now. I should go make dindin, and leave pondering for when the tummy is full.
I’d call the realtor, that is what they are there for.
I hate the waiting, I guess I’ll know soon. I’m not hopeful, I told the realtor I am not getting my hopes up at all this time. If it doesn’t go through there is another house right down the street from it that is a HomePath home for a nice price and another around the corner. Yeah, I’m anal, I check the listings everyday to see what else is coming up.
Drae call and bug the realtor. This is deadline time. He/she knows that and shouldn’t mind a call. You need to know. Sari good to know that other options are out there. Hopefully this house is yours since it’s one you really like.
I was a good bear and am at the orifice. Dangit! I’ll live. It’s just a couple of hours until go home time.
Moanday, I shall spend in the south forty. I already said that though, I think. Rah.
I gave up and called. The sellers are meeting with their guy this afternoon and should have an answer by the 5:00 deadline. My realtor says that they’re considering just going straight to contract and not messing around with all the “you have 90 days to sell your house and close or we give up.” We want to move, they want to move, neither of us is ready to move, but we’re all in this together.
So, I am cautiously optimistic, because it sounds promising. It will be difficult to get the place inspected from 400 miles away, but I can figure this out. I’m not the first person to move to another state.

The next post y’all see from me shall be from da cave. I have been told I may lose power in the outlets at the orifice around three o’clock as some electrical work is bein’ done. I have informed TPTB of this and will finish out my day from da cave. It’s a sacrifice, but I’m willin’.
flytrap from time to time I’ll be in the orifice just irkin’ away on the ‘puter or on the phone and all of a sudden, no power. The lights are still on but no outlet power cause the dang circuit breaker trips. Apparently some type of electrical work is bein’ done late this afternoon/evenin’ to alleviate this problem. Who knows.
Actually, tomorrow I shall irk from da cave. TPTB told me to do so if’n I want just to give some extra time to make sure the electricical stuff gets done at the orifice. I need to check on some local folk at their trainin’ places and had planned that already, so why not.
Burgers and fries for dindin just cause I want a burger and fries. I had some burgers already made up and frozen. I took ‘em out early this mornin’ and they are just right for grillin’. Go Me!
House!!! I HAVE HOUSE!!! Well, still working stuff out for the contract and everything, but they’re going to accept the offer at the price I gave them, and in a few months I will have THE BEST HOUSE EVER.
Home, doing laundry. Not only did Higgs wake me at a stoopit hour this morning, but Taz decided to pee on FCD’s side of the bed. He got a pillow, the bedspread, and a wee bit (hee) on the blanket, but the sheets and mattress were spared, so there’s that. I sprayed it all with Nature’s Miracle, then tossed the pillow and blanket in the washer before I left for work. As soon as I got home, I hung those things out on the line and put the bedspread in. It will also spend the night on the line - tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, so they’ll definitely be dry when I get home. I may even have time tonight to get a load of jeans out there.

Speaking of realtors, I don’t know if I shared this already, but some years back, we were selling a house in MD but we were living in FL. Our realtor was pretty much worthless for many reasons, but the biggest one was that EVERY TIME we called her, she’d say “I was just about to call you!!” I’m pretty sure it was her guilt kicking in for ignoring us. I was so glad when we finally sold the house and didn’t have to deal with Judy any longer.

I have a day off tomorrow but I have so much planned. I have to go to the employment office in the morning, so not too much sleeping late for me. Too bad, because I could’ve used it.
That little tune I wrote recently for solo clarinet - I’d like to make an arrangement of it, maybe for more than one instrument or something.
It’s my orchestra conductor friend’s birthday today. (He’s the source of my current signature.)
So if you are having muliple repairs done on the truck, it helps to schedule an appointment instead of just showing up. Been at Manny, Moe, and Jacks for 7 hours.
