Also wanted to add something that should be fairly obvious but should probably be made plain…if you do the weekend getaway, don’t tout it as The Great Make-Raver’sSO-Come Project or anything like that. Advertise it as a romantic getaway weekend, just the two of you, that neither of your families will know where you are and nobody can call or visit or intrude on your together time.
Hell, I’m a man and a “date” with someone who did all of the above for me would have me a quivering mass of jello by Sunday afternoon.
