Indygrrl, I get that you were venting, and that’s fine. Presumably you’ve calmed down by now and realize that the solution to this problem is extremely simple: Stop hanging out with this person. And stop letting somebody you’ve known for less than half a year affect you so much. Just cut her loose and be done with it. No further drama necessary.

Frankly, it seems tomme you’ve wasted far more emotional capital on this chick than she’s worth. Why waste even one more second’s thought on her? Just delete her from your emotional life. It’s not like there as ever much of a relationship here.

A lot of advice for writing nastygrams is along the lines of “write it, put it into an envelope, and then burn it.” Getting it all down on paper served the purpose of organizing your thoughts and clearing your head. Leave it at that.
