I coulda been a STAR in the MMP!!

A massive amount of coleslaw has been made. Well, a gallon of it, which seems like a massive amount. I lurve the choppin’ attachment on my KitchenAid mixer. I had it all chopped and/or shredded inside an hour.

And that, folks, is the excitatement here in swampland.

Up and meeting some friends for lunch and from there to work. My day is looking a lot duller than Swampy’s so far.

I did go back to bed, but thanks to Higgs and Taz, it was not restful. But we’ve breakfasted and just returned from the convenience center, so the house is trash-and-recycling-free. So there’s that.

Still dreary out there - I think I’ll have a little studio time shortly. Beyond that, dunno…

Friday has kind of crept up on me again, I almost didn’t see it coming. It’s been a very busy week at work and my after-work schedule has been completely different this week due to the demands of some pets that I’m feeding while the owners are on holiday.

So I have been doing things on days when I don’t normally do them, and that has had me thinking yesterday was Friday because a) I did grocery shopping on Wednesday instead of Thursday, and b) 'im indoors came home on Thursday instead of Friday because today is a public holiday in Germany where he’s working but we have our public holiday on Monday so I have to take him back to the airport on Sunday and then I get to see my mum on Monday (which is usually a Sunday thing).

See how easy it is to confuzzle me?

And now, the Tele-Smak Pro®! Bitch slap teh stoopit through the Internet!!

And, of course, blurf a la Firday

I was going around this morning trying to do adult things.
Actually, nothing exciting. Boring adult things. I went to the bank and I tried to get my vehicle registration renewed, but was scared away at the registration place by the long line of people when I got there. I wasn’t so much actually scared, just that I had a limited amount of time and I had other stuff to do. My registration isn’t up until later this month anyway, so I’ll try to get it done on Monday.

Then I bought cat litter at the store (two litter containers because they were on sale.) The nice man behind me in line (not the same guy I wrote about in the rants thread) helped me put the litter in my wheelie cart thing and asked if I had a kittycat.

I was going to talk on Skype with a friend today but we’re both busy, so it’s not going to work out. Ah well, another time.

To do later today: More cleaning, and cleaning the litter box. And the music arrangement. Maybe if I keep working on it, I’ll eventually be halfway finished.

We should have Smack-O-Gram[sup]TM[/sup] also for that personal touch. Imagine the possibilities!

In other news, tonight is pizza night as declared by OYKW. To celebrate, I made some more brownies.

TGIF!!!11!!!

Yay! Made it to Firday! have a GRAND weekend everyone!

Buy two, the second one is free Just pay separate Postage & Handling.
If my estimates are correct, P&H is triple the cost of the product. :smack:

It’s official, ruble has NO life! :frowning:

I know Who’s on First, but you confuzzled me about ⅓ of the way thru that!

They are what TV Tropes calls The Thing That Would Not Leave. I’m getting rather fed up with some of my “coworkers”.

Bad week for music.

Will someone “Stand by Me” since Ben E King has died?

I have made a monster - he’s got fangs, horns, and scales, and a wart on his nose. I also cut out piggy parts. I’ll let them dry a bit, the assemble the piggies - maybe tomorrow? And I stitched up a fiberglass barrier cloth for **FCD **for his welder. Now I’m all itchy. ick.

AND I changed the battery in my studio clock. So go me!

spiedy, hearing that gives me a sad.

Mooom, while you were building monsters and piggies, I built a turkey in my studio last night.

TGIF.

Still bein’ slothful here. I figure I deserve it cause tomorrow and Sunday will be busy and I go back to irk on Moanday. I am lookin’ forward to gettin’ back to irk.

I was looking on various sites for some wedding garb, when it occurred to me that I have several dresses that I bought for cruises and never wore. Um DUH!!! So I’ve got a dress for the wedding. In need shoes, since sneaks or loafers won’t cut it. I’ll probably get some kind of sandals. And I’ll buy some sparkly costume jewelry to gussy it up. So that’s solved. Yay.

Mor… Uhh… Afternoon… Uhh… Evening all!

The summer schedule at irk starts today, which means I start on overnight shifts, 10 pm til 6 am. The good thing about it is that I’m kinda nocturnal anyway, and it does mean an end to the horrendous 2am starts, but I’m not exactly looking forward to it.

I’m especially wary 'cos we’re still having decorating done, and the painter is utterly incapable of understanding the concept of quiet. Really; LL told him I was in bed, so could he try keep the noise down a bit, and his response was “Yeah, sure, no problem!” Then he grabbed a drum (seeing as the house is full of random music gear), and started banging on it. smack Even when it was taken off him, he still didn’t seem to understand why.

Anyway, I spent the ‘morning’ doing gardenin’ and sowing seeds at home, which is always one of my favourite things to do. Even though the weather done gone cold again (and my potatoes got frosted), I can still get things ready for when it warms up.

Took a nap and ate some lunch.

My mood has improved a bit.

I paid my car insurance and confirmed my appointment at the pre-op center on Moonday.
I half hope I fail the pre-op.

Pizza has morphed into hot wings. I noticed the Pubic Sto’ had their hot wings on special so I called OYKW to inform him. This caused an immediate gnawin’ and cravin’ for wings cause Pubic Sto’ wings be good. So Ima go get some in a while and do up a rice dish and some peas 'n carrots. That’ll be easy and tasty, just like the way I like my men.

An hour to chop up a gallon of cabbage? Gosh, you work slowly and carefully! Our food processor could probably blast out enough to satisfy the local KFC and Popeye’s shops and probably the fish and chips place in an hour. Of course, there will be stray bits of cabbage everywhere, but it’s a small price to pay for coleslaw.

Had the crabby gallbladder tested today. Ejection fraction is over 90% which is well into hyperactive territory and explains the way I’ve been feeling. Next step is probably to have it yanked out.

gotti I did not make a big mess and I am slow. Also, sorry about the gall bladder but as I understand it the op is not anywhere as major as it used to be so there’s that.

Dindin has been injested. I went to the sto’ for the hot wings and nuked up some peas 'n carrots. I decided we could have some of the massive amount of coleslaw as well. Life is good. Plus, brownies when wanted!
