So I’m getting dressed this morning, and for some reason, glanced at the tag in my girly-pants. Now, this may be a bit TMI, but I wear a size 7 undie. And according to this particular pair, that is a size Large, which was abrivated to L. So we have…L/7.
I have no evidence that this grrl-inflused rock band is actually named after my underwear size, but if it does, it means that my tookus is roughly the same size as one of theirs! Anyone ever come to a similar epiphany?
Well, it’s not quite a band in my pants, but I recently bought a couple of pairs of Fruit of the Loom boxer-briefs.
On the waistband, rather than spelling out the brand name in full, they have in several places the acronym “FTL”. Every time I glance at these undies, I think to myself, “Faster Than Light.”
It always gives me a chuckle to think that I’m wearing underwear that can move at warp speed.
“L7” used to be code for “square”, but I dunno if that’s where the band got it’s name. That term was probably out of style about the time that the L7 band members were conceived.
Yes! I’ve found the same thing. I knew the letters reminded me of something, but didn’t clue in to the fact that I, too, now have tachyonic underpants!
Well, and speaking of bands: Tachyonic Underpants! What do you think?
