I Got Nuttin’… The Worst Ever MMP

I just got back from one of the most awesome hockey games I have ever attended.

I don’t think our goalie was awake at first. Going into the third period the score was 6-2 in favor of Huntsville. Out guys managed to tie it up - Connor scored his second pro goal - and we won in the shootout. Everyone there got their money’s worth tonight, that was for sure!

When we played the same team last night in Huntsville, we beat them 6-4. Their coach had a bit of a meltdown and threw all the equipment on the bench onto the ice, and there were a grand total of 6 fights. We only had three or four fights tonight; one of which started before the game was a minute old.

I love hockey!

You should write to Stephen Colbert and see if you can’t get him to talk his pet Saginaw team into a charity match against your Snakes.

rosie, when the siesta is absolutely necessary is in the summer, when temperatures at noon are higher than body temperature and the only wise course of action is to hide.

Maybe you just have a case of The Hibernation, I’m told it’s actually very common.

Sounds like a great game, SCL! And yay Connor for scoring!

Ah, yes, Vicki-eating - ick! Isn’t the base petroleum jelly (I’ve always assumed)? Not really something I’d want to eat. Don’t even want to think about the flavor. Cough drops with menthol would seem like quite enough in that direction.

I’m up. Not sure why. But I’ll be lolling about for a while yet. At least I got up in time to hear Superbowl Haiku.

Saturday morning…yay!

GT

Scruffy goes back to the vet this morning - she managed to eat one of her stitches before we fashioned a diaper to cover her belly and leave her potty parts free.

While they’re gone, I’ll be mudding the closet in the guest room. **FCD ** hates mudding and I’m tired of waiting for him to do it. So I’ll do it. Problem solved.

Then I get to do laundry - woo and hoo.

Doncha wish you were me??

BWAAAAAAHAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAA!!! Now that’s funny!

Mornin’ y’all. I’m up (been up for a while) and caffienated. Now I need to clean up and go run some errands. After that it’s just a lazy day at da cave.

Ok, maybe I should start playin’ the lottery more often. That way I can win ten million dollars and take up dopefests as a hobby. Wouldn’t that be fun?

Off to beautify and out into the world.

Later Y’all!

Morning!

I may or may not go to the market, with or without Attacks Husband. I haven’t phoned yet to see if he’s awake. QD has abandoned me in favour of going to get her shoes resoled. :sniff: I’m not hurt. :sniff, sniff: I know no one cares.

For your enlightenment and amusement. Attacks Husband says that’s the sort of thing that develops when there’s not enough to do.

er, um, ok - but I wasn’t the one who asked or commented (or was I? :dubious: )

and would you be covering our travel expenses as well?

**Li-Li **- it started in Yorkshire, England. I think that says it all. (no offense BooFae :))

To the dentist this morning, then a few errands, then I have to start pulling my tax stuff together

I’m up, the dog is walked and coffee is brewing.

rosie, I’d fly everyone in for a Dopefest if I won the lottery.

Back from errand running. YAY!!! Supper tonight is steak, baked N.O.T., salad and garlic bread. NUM! I have some Blue Bell strawberry vanilla ice cream for dessert. Also, tomorrow is brunch Sunday for church so I’m making a chicken, broccoli and rice caserole for that. I got a chicken simmering for broth and such as I post.

Ok, my idea would be that, if I won the lottery, I’d be traveling all over the place organizing dopefests. See, I’d come to you. Or, maybe I could make this into a bidness. I could be like a dopefest planner. I’d come to where you are and for a nominal fee, make all the plans and preparations for the dopefest of your dreams. Or, maybe I’d just show up and we’d go party. I’m good either way.

Morning, all. Not much going on here today except work. Since I’ve goofed off for the past two days, I guess I get to make it up over the weekend. But that’s okay, since I prefer goofing off on weekdays anyway – things are less crowded.

If you win the lottery, Swampy, while you should go into the dopefest planning business, I think first you should have a MMP fest. In Tahiti. Yeah, that’s the ticket. You can be our host and provide us all the vacation/dopefest of our dreams. Sounds good to me! So buy those lottery tickets, young man!

Good morning everyone. I’m up, although I am not caffinated.

My daughter and I will be leaving in about 5 minutes or so to get our hair done.

After that, I’ve got a couple of errands, then home again to clean up the house a little. Then cook dinner, then off to a friend’s 50th birthday surprise party.

I’m sure there’s more in there, but that’s the gist of it anyway. I hope everyone is doing well.

Back from the dentist - my tooth is whole again. yay.

going to spend the rest of the day vegging - tomorrow I plan to be productive. (key word “plan”)

Brother and I had pancakes at the Original Pancake House - I think I startled my stomach by giving it so much nourishment after a week of coffee and cookies.

Friend and I plan to go shopping today (with what money, I know not) but it’s FRICKIN’ COLD outside. I felt like my face would fall off.

That was me. And I slept until 0830–life o’ Riley, I’m tellin’ ya.

It is motherloving COLD out there today. But I am still glad. [sub]in my little kid portion of myself, Ima skeered of global warming, so any chill is good…hey, I didn’t say it made sense![/sub]

I have (almost) finished my homework for the day-dang Mondays come fast around here! Gotta go read some more-my eyes may fall outta my head from all this reading.

Gotta share a photo of our Pampered Pet! When we checked out her belly this morning, even tho there was a stitch missing, she wasn’t bleeding. **FCD ** thought if we put a newborn diaper on her, it would keep her from licking and chewing. So far so good. He cut an opening for her tail, and we have to un-diaper her to go outside. And the newborn size is a perfect fit. The green sweater is actually the sleeve from one of FCD’s old sweatshirts - it protects her other incisions.

I did the mudding in the spare room this morning. Then we took the trash and recycling to the convenience center, followed by a stop for lunch. Next, we ran to the marina to check on the boat - it’s still floating! Finally, just for kicks, we went by a local Ford dealer who had a Focus FX(?) advertised under $10K and 0% for 3 years. I test drove one - not bad - but the salesman pissed us both off so bad, we left.

I’ve got a load of towels in the washer and from here on out, we’re chilling. Except for laundry.

That picture of Scruffy is hilarious! I still remember our last dog, a sweet older golden retriever named Casey who we adopted when she was about 6, who had to have a tumor removed from her shoulder, and when she wouldn’t leave the stitches alone I called the emergency vet clinic in the middle of the night in a panic and they suggested a t-shirt. So I dug out an old shirt and put it on her, and she LOVED it. Somewhere I have a photo that I really need to scan in of Casey sitting there posing like a glamor queen in her beyoootiful t-shirt, just pleased as punch to have it on. Plus it worked – she never bothered her stitches again. So it was a win/win, especially in Casey’s mind. Dogs are SO silly!

Can anybody tell me where my get up and go got up and went today? Cause I can’t find it anywhere.

Afternoon and hello, everyone. QD is here, and we’re lazing around.

We just watched Grosse Point Blank. Fun movie.

Maybe you left it in my car - I’ve been way motivated today!

TELL ME about it!!! I was downtown yesterday taking pictures of Bears things and froze, but today I went to the gym, worked out, then showered and walked outside with a wet head.

Frozen hair, I tell ya…

I’m just Mr. Drive By Guy today - catching up on some work here, watching the Wife do housework, and later after dinner, we’re off to a friend’s daughter’s 21st birthday celebration.

I’d much rather just stay home and burn wood, but she says we have to go.
