My hair’s darker than yours, but here are some colors that work for me (besides forest green and brown):
Yellow
Peach (my personal fave)
Purple
Sage or ash green (this color has been popular in the US for a couple years now, and I have two suits this color)
Any shade of blue other than the really light ones
I could always mail you my forest green wool blazer!

Sage would look good. And, to paraphrase Twisty, tell you what. If you get the new job, I’ll spend an entire day going underwear shopping with you. There, the contrast between white and, um, your natural color would be very nice. I think. But I’d have to make sure.

Um, pastels went out down here in about 1965, so I’d say you were right.

Shit, ruadh, you’d completely be able to pull off a light blue. Throw a solid, light-grey jacket over it, and boo-yaa.
After veiwing the photos from the link, I am of the opinion that ruadh would look devastating in just about any color outfit.

I am a redhead. Auburn-head is probably more precise. And pastels look hideous on me, although I have been known to wear them when I’m having a low-self-esteem day. I don’t wear much red, either, because I’m fair-skinned, and red totally washes me out (but in my pic on the People Pages, I’m wearing the only article of red clothing that looks halfway decent on me. Go figure). Yellow? NOT. Looks so bad on me that people think I’m ill when I’m standing near someone else that’s wearing yellow. Oy.
Someone needs to open a store just for redheads. “The Green and Brown Store.” I’d shop there. A lot.
