I hate the creme in Oreos

I was 100% serious. That sounds delicious!

Same! I looooove chocolate chipless cookies.

Those are essentially “brown sugar cookies”. What’s not to like? I do think the DARK chocolate chips improve them, but you can keep your milk chocolate or m&m abominations.

I wonder what took them so long.

I hate the cookie, because they “look” like chocolate, but taste like brown.

The ideal would be Oreo wafers with the filling from Cameo cookies. Which there USED to be…HYDROX, COME BACK!!!

Yep, Crisco & powdered sugar and a dash of vanilla.

Here is a recipe for both sides in this thread - make your own cookies or filling!

Wow…proud that my little rangy thread generated such emotion… The 100 calorie packs are ok, but watery…I do like the thickness of the plain cookie. I’ll scrape all my creme and save it for you creme aholics…wait…that doesn’t sound right

A regular-stuf Oreo is one of the most perfectly-balanced foods on earth. I’ve wished or No-stufs myself, though. The wafers in the 100 calorie packs are close, but not quite right.

Oh heck yes.
Hydrox. Way better.
I must agree with the OP, I was never a fan of the filling on Oreo cookies. I would scape it off as a kid and just eat the cookie.
Preferably dipped in milk.

You need some children to twist the filling out of your cookies. They can build their own double-layered cookies, you can have your eviscerated cookies, and they can look upon you with pity, which is the nature of the relationship between young and old.

Amen.
Double-stuf Oreos are industry’s perfect food.

I’m guessing you’re not a fan of Cold Stone’s Oreo Creme ice cream then?

Oreo creme milkshake with Health bar mix-in. That’s my go-to order. It’ll kill you, but you’ll die happy.

Thirded! And Oreos are just knock-offs of Hydrox. :stuck_out_tongue: I love the name because it sounds like rocket fuel, not cookies.

Heh heh.

It’s funny because I agree but think it’s a good thing. Oreos don’t taste like chocolate but what they taste like is great.

 Yum! Perfect! Gotta run to Target now k bye.

This person did the opposite and made an Oreo almost too tall to eat.

Bolding your quote…
I am going to teach my grand-kids about “eviscerated cookies”.
They get to learn a new word, have all that icky filling to their hearts content, and how Grandpa likes unadorned, plain cookies with his milk.

When I was a kid I’d scrape out the filling from my (four) cookies and roll it into a ball. Then I’d eat it, and then eat the better part – the chocolate cookies – last.
