I made the executive decision that we ain’t working outside tomorrow. It’s been too wet and there’s no guarantee of enough non-rainy time to do what we have to do. Next Saturday is forecast to be quite nice, so we shall wait till then.

Howdy Y’all! When irk was over, I went and met OYKW at the [del]redneck dive[/del] bar just down the road. Not the one near da cave but the other one a little further down the road. We had a couple beers, jalapeño poppers, and some good conversation for a bit and now we’re at da cave. Kinda nice to do that on occasion. If’n any eatage is to be done it shall be done via forage the fridge and pantry. Still full up from N.O.L. plus the poppers.

I am set to begin PT Tuesday. I was able to get in close to irk so I won’t have to fool wit FMLA. Heading out to meet a friend at the mom and pop comfort food place. Then it’s off to pick up <10# of groceries (it sucks not beingable to carry more than that).
I applied for Social Security today. I can expect my first check around August 20th accordin’ to the site. I’m confused though. Do I have to buy my own cane and walker or does SS send me one?
I had a good day off. Took Gordie on a couple of long walks, my copy of Slapshot came form Amazon., and I got Orange Ginger chicken marinating in the fridge.

Steak night has been postponed until manana as I didn’t get home till after 8 pm. Was too deep into Combating Human Trafficking to quit at close time.
I have an appt to take Lucky Louie to have a mani-pedi at 0815 but may try to go later like 11ish. It is after 1 am and I an obviously still awake. Drank beers and tried to unwind. TGIF.

It will include a cane, a walker, a booster seat for your toilet, hearing aids, pants that come up to your armpits, sandals with a couple of pairs of black socks, and a book called “Kids These Days - A Guide to Phrases You Can Yell at Any Youngster” - plus a case of prune juice.

So much for sleeping well. Last night I could *not *fall asleep - I tossed and turned for over 2 hours! I also woke during the night, and finally around 6, I was awake again. The critters have been tended to, and I may flop down on the recliner and try to snooze a bit. I’d go back to bed, but I don’t want to disturb FCD, and the critters will try to break into our room of we’re both in there and they’re locked out. A recliner snooze might be the best solution.
It’s another gray, dreary day. I’ve decided I’m going to use the granite polish on my counters today. It’ll do double duty of forcing me to clean the kitchen. 
We may go to see *Keanu *this afternoon - Key and Peele crack me up! Beyond that, no plans at all. Except laundry. Always laundry.

YAWN 'Tis <snerk> 69! <snerk> Amurrkin out and foggy with a predicted high of 88 and sunny for the day although some sources say it will be 90 before the day is over. We shall see. When the fog lifts, I plan on mowage of da cave yahd. ICK! However it must be done.
OK, that’s all I got for now. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands to be fed. Then, well, onward into the day!

Another gloomy, grey, rainy day. According to my weather app we have another week of rain. Sometime in there the yard needs to be mowed, the suspected poison ivy needs to be nuked, and flowers need to be planted.
Dog is finally better, although still having a bit of trouble with the steps outside, especially at night. The cat is still in hiding. I’m just going to go up today or tomorrow, pick him up, plop him in my lap and pet him. Then I’ll probably be bitching because he never leaves me alone.
Nothing special on the agenda today.
I have to put my new stickers on the truck sometime today. I’ve only had them for something like 3 weeks and haven’t put them on yet. They expire tonight.
Mostly today will just be irk and cleaning, unless Sah-son decides to take his final today. I think he should and get it over with but he always waits until the deadline.
Mowage has been achieved. Go Us! We even went over and took care of OYKW’s yahd which takes no time but still two yahds received mowage this mornin’. Spidey this was an uber thick fog and visibility was pretty much zero. However, it lifted pretty quickly and was almost gone when we started to mow. Weather here be weird. Anywho, we’s all showered and cleanded up.

I’m up (again), all the irk checkpoint calls are done for the day (conversion day). Plans have been turned upside down for the rest of the day so now I need to figger out what I’m doing & when.
We scarfed down sammiches for N.O.L. OYKW is achieving nappage and I am considerin’ the same thing. I have steaks marinatin’ for dindin. We shall partake of steak, sallit, garlic smashed N.O.T., asparagus, and cheesey bread. ‘Twill be good. I also need to make three gallons of sweet tea for brunch after deheathenization tomorrow. I was asked if I would do that, so I shall. Or maybe go by the Pubic Sto’ on the way tomorrow and buy some. They do make a good sweet tea.
Such is the excitatement at da cave.
