Not sleeping, again, is FUN!
Rain today I think.

Does that mean Custodian of the Key or that it’s an important inspection by a Custodian? I’m confused…
Lunch break, and I need it. After working on a drawing all day yesterday, I decided I needed to make a change to make it clearer. It was the right choice, but it added a page and multiple views, ergo, lots of work. But that’s why I get the big bucks, right? And by big I mean not particularly big.
We’ve had some rain from the looks of the parking lot. Of course, my house is 20 miles away - it could be bone dry there for all I know. Not that I can do anything about it. Wow, this is one pathetic post, isn’t it?
I have no idea why he did it that way. What you needed was the pseudoephedrine. No ibuprofen or paracetamol unless you asked for pain relief too. The clorfenamine IS allergy medicine, so if that’s not what you were asking for you should know you got it anyway. It makes me sleepy. It may have been locked up since the pseudoephedrine can be used to make meth, if purchased in large quantities. It’s kept behind the counter here in the US for that reason.
Why are you up & sheveled so early? Sounds like a sleep & stay in your PJs until at least after lunch if not until dinner time type of day is what you should be doing.
I expect Gordie made him get up…
Work is going to be interesting. The Project will be in full swing, my allergies are kicking in, the weather is gloomy and I just ain’t feeling it today. I’m wearing my lucky Knoebels Staff shirt in the hopes of sparking some good joojoo.
Keyboarding Final is done. He has no idea how he did because most of the final was written, questions on grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. with only a small part on actual typing.
The parking lot was a mess, finals week and everybody is there I guess. I had to drive around and around until somebody left and I grabbed their spot.
I think I have a big patch of poison ivy in the back yard.
This day is not going well.
**sari **- I spotted my first batch of poison ivy last weekend when I was dumping some leaves. I’ve got some spray and when we’re due for a dry spell, I’m going to spray the crap out of any that I find. Evil, evil stuff!!!
I’ve run out of work and I’m waiting for the boss to bring me more. Two packs of drawings have been completed and passed on for approval and manufacture. On pack is still in check, and another is on my desk - I need to gift the guy who just finished checking a bunch for me. Poor guy…
Just over an hour to go - how long before I get a task??? <humming Jeopardy theme>
AirForce, sometimes freaking the neighbors out is just a perk!
Oy! I could barely get out of bed this morning. I threw my back out getting onto the bike this weekend. After four days, heat, icy hot and Tylenol just weren’t doing much. So I called out at irk and called the doctor. I’ve now been x-rayed and am waiting for the verdict. Doc seems to think it’s a herniated disk. At least he gave me an upgrade from the Tylenol.
Got work, sorta. I’ve got to convert a couple of .STEP files, which involves waiting for the program to convert them. In 10 minutes, it’s done fewer than 1000 of the 4600+ features. So chances are, I’ll leave it running when I leave in 10 minutes. In the morning, it’ll either be done, or my computer will be reduced to a pile of ash. We shall see…
Red Ouch! I’ve been there. I hope you feel better soonest.
This is just a draggy week, I guess. We started off with that one late night and I feel like I just can’t catch uo.
I fully support all plans to nuke/poison/rout poison ivy. Kill It All.
Howdy Y’all! Hump day has been survived. YAY! I left the southwest forty and came right on to da cave. Lots o’ drivin’ today but I’m glad I got that out of the way cause tomorrow is supposed to be rainy. I still get to run around in rain should it happen but that will all be local. I put a hunk o’ beast in the slow cooker last night before sleepy time and it was done this mornin’. I also roasted up some carrots and N.O.T. Go Me! I shall heat those up, cook up some butter beans and some frozen rolls for dindin. It’ll be goooooooooood and not a whole lot of work to get done. I feel so domestic!
I’m going a relatively easy route for supper - I’ve got rice-a-roni with some fake crab and mixed veggies all simmering in a pan. When the timer beeps, I’ll add the seasoning packet, then supper will be ready.
Near as I can tell, our rain never materialized here. From the looks of radar, we might get some tonight. Maybe. Hope so.
C’mon Firday!!!
After we ingested dindin, I decided to go to Evenin’ Prayer over to the church house. I’m glad I did. Sometimes it’s good to hear words of reassurance and comfort and that’s what it felt like to me.
Everyone is so quiet. Makes me wonder what y’all are up to.
Serious thunderstorm here. I’ve had two brief power outages.
Ladies and gentlemen, our long* national nightmare is over. We have air conditioning! My mom dragged my dad in for an eye exam today (and Og, yes, he needed glasses! We were at the point of telling him that the children couldn’t ride with him until he had an eye exam,) and came back by the house with 3 window units. “Happy birthday, happy Mother’s Day, happy Father’s Day, and happy anniversary.” Works for me! (As we were installing unit #1, it was 87° American inside, even with windows open overnight and managing the open windows all day, keeping the breeze blowing from only the shady side of the house. I love my mama, even though I want to strangle her about 50% of the time!)
Also got a shade fixed for the hyper dog’s enclosure. He’s happy. I’m happy. The Husband gets to live another day**.
Dinner was chili and crackers, because that’s what I made last night before bed - I didn’t know whether we’d melt today, so I didn’t want to turn on the stove before sundown.
And I just learned that I have to do another FAFSA for Girl 2.0, before she enrolls in summer classes. Already did one for The Boy, and I’d rather file taxes instead. Ugh.
** Bless his heart, my DH*** likes to plan projects for me, and tell me what I’m doing wrong while I get shit done. The dog enclosure has been one of those projects. I told him how I planned it. He told me about 47 times how it wouldn’t work. So I just didn’t put it together. DH finally did it himself… exactly the way I had planned. Today I was in the middle of putting the cover on it when my blessed mother arrived. Tony came in from therapy while I was visiting with Mom, and immediately started telling me how to “fix” it. I let him live.
*** In this case, DH stands for Dumbass Husband. I assure you that my mom would have testified for me. And any jury with at least one middle aged woman dealing with hot flashes, PMS, and a husband might deadlock, but they wouldn’t convict.
Good day off, got the bathroom clean, took out some trash, bought some beer and veggies. Watching the hockey game. Tonight’s dinner is Italian chicken with cheesy rice and roasted squash and tomatoes.
7:30 is sleeping for me.
Pfft. Gordie is not a morning person.
Red, ouch! Hope it’s a fixable problem.
AirForce, the last cat I named was Thrakazog.
At 4am our new shift will be rolling out the vans.
I will not be joining that shift.
If I get up at 3am its for hunting or fishing.
In other words, something is going to get hurt and/or die.
I’ve been irking Swampy, a long call, which is okay by me.
Sah-son had taco hell, and I had mcd’s for lunch and dinner, because I bought enough of both to last two meals. I’ve had a grumpy day because, well because some people are stupid and when they bring their stupid to me, I get grumpy.
FAFSA’s suck, the website sucks, the money is worth it, but the whole process sucks.
The cat is back in hiding upstairs. I think he is never going to come out and be normal. He’ll be the invisible cat that nobody ever sees. At least the mice are gone, I guess they got a whiff of kitty and moved on to safer quarters.
Ruble, you really want to get TDY to the new fulfillment center in Burlington County…it’s not that far from TDY irk to West Berlin, NJ
