I’ve been told by various folk I need to start consuming something other than caffiene in the AM - otherwise, my stomach will continue to get grumpy towards me, and my blood sugar will continue to be very very low way before lunchtime. Inattentiveness in class and such results.
So, I just ate one Hot-Fudge-Sundae flavored poptart (frozen, and DAMN they’re good that way!), and drank a can of mountain dew.
I’m not sure if I should be proud because I remembered to eat something, or ashamed of what it was.
Yet another list of doper females to add to my: “I’d lust after if I weren’t gay” list.
I have a hankerin’ for a hot fudge sundae flavored Poptart[sup]TM[/sup]. A hankerin’ I am sure I will regret, but nevertheless feel the need to give in to.
Wow, yeah, I totally crashed in the middle of math (around 11). Whoooo.
Lunch today, for those keeping score at home, is a perfectly healthy cheese sandwich on wheat bread, with a pickle on the side. As my appetizer for lunch, I had an (ongoing) insane thunderstorm, complete with utter downpour and hail. I had to go through it to get to the cafeteria, then back with my sandwich so I can review some things for class this afternoon.
But seriously - ancient Ninja secret: Hot-fudge Sundae poptarts are so incredibly good, it’s a sin. Honest. That’s why we’re having this storm - the gods are angry at me.
Just swallowed the last bit of my Hot Fudge Sundae Poptart about 5 minutes ago.
The vanilla/chocolate ones were my favorites for the past, oh 20 years? Then before the last hurricane, they had no vanilla/chocolate poptarts.
OMG, what to do? Poptarts are required hurricane food. Ya know, 8 vitamins and all. I went out on a limb and bought the Hot Fudge Sundae Poptarts.
I will never eat another flavor of Poptart again.
And you’ll like this, today I compared the nutritional value of the Chocolate/Vanilla to the Hot Fudge Sundae. There were small differences. Nutritionally speaking, :::cough::: the old Vanilla ones are better for you.
Really? Can they *really * be better than the S’mores ones? I might be forced into doing my own research on this matter, in the interest of fighting ignorance, of course…just not at breakfast time.
My wonderful wife made me an omlette with cheese, ham and onion this morning. Then I had to go and eat some peaches because she never remembers that I need carbs in the morning when I take my insulin shot or I’ll get a low blood sugar.
For those of you whos bodies allow them to eat stuff like pizza and pop-tarts for breakfast and still survive, I am jealous.
Same here. I’m not on insulin like you are, but I still have to watch my sugar intake else I get horrifically sick.
As it was said earlier, NinjaChick, protein is your friend. Even if you are vegetarian, there are protein sources (eggs, dairy, soy) that are easily available to you. Eating sugary junk like that will eventually catch up to you when you get older. Trust me on this.
