Looks sketchy to me… Yeah, they guarantee that whatever they send you will have an MSRP of at least $10, but there are a lot of pieces of junk out there with an MSRP that high that wouldn’t be worth it if they were free. It seems pretty obvious to me that the purpose of the website is to act as a clearinghouse for those things that companies couldn’t get rid of any other way, with a handful of nice things like Kindles and remote-controlled helicopters thrown in just so they can put them on the front page.

Woot does the “Random Bag of Crap” every now and then and sells out very fast, so who knows. I will be interested in how many e-mails from online retailers the purchase will generate.
Hmm. Clicking on the buy button gives me a “cross-site scripting” warning from Firefox. I’m not sure what that means. Sounds like a fun idea, a good way to use up those few extra dollars on a promotional debit card maybe, but I think I’ll pass for now.

My spousal unit is very suspicious. I think it sounds like cheap fun for $10. We’ll see who wins this battle! 
My roommate got one of those. Guarenteed to be worth $40. I think it was. Among other stuff there was one of those battery operated RC helicopters. If you don’t need or can’t use all the stuff, you can use it for gifts.
Maybe I’ll figure out how to fly the chopper to torment the cat.

Tosh.0 did that a while ago with his staff. They got a bunch of hats, some other crap and one person got a Kindle.
A FOAF (or rather a friend of one of my employees) did that bag of crap from Woot and ended up with something like 300 calculators or 400 of something or other. It was some ridiculous amount of something they just couldn’t sell and just tossed it all in a box and shipped it off.
I got mine last week.
