I just found out that Barack Obama was the lead singer of Looking Glass

There’s nothing you can tell me I’m wrong!

Somebody should look into this.

What a funny coincidence

Obama has been filmed singing informally. He’s got a good voice.

That is hilarious.

We should ask Obama what time frame he thinks the song is set in.

Sounds more like him than Shapiro does.

Though, as the song goes on it I hear it less and less.

Ha, I thought this was going to be one of those silly AI deals. But the actual singer does sound a heck of a lot like Obama singing.

He does…

Never have I ever seen Barack Obama and Elliot Lurie in the same place at the same time.

So … there’s that.

Not a bad baritone voice — FOR AN ELEVEN YEAR OLD!

Coincidentally, that song was bumped out of #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, by. . . “Black and White” by Three Dog Night.

I always thought Looking Glass was terribly under-rated. I enjoyed a lot of their music, not just ‘Brandy’. ‘Jimmy loves Mary Anne’, ‘Golden Rainbow’, and ‘From Stanton Station’ are some of my faves from them.

So thanks to young Barack for that!

ETA: ‘Sweet Something’ is so fine too!

I saw this a bit ago. There is a guy that has a social media site that has lots of these. Hilarious. I’ll see if I can dig it up.
