Back to the premise of the OP: I didn’t “get” the title South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut until I heard the MPAA was making a fuss and I actually thought about it for a second.
Well, it’s hard to get without the leadup and the right tone of voice for the first part.
And Cervaise, the way I heard it, the MPAA made the fuss about the original South Park movie subtitle (“All Hell Breaks Loose”), but did NOT make a fuss about the one actually used, which, if accurate, just makes it funnier.
I just saw a Simpson episode where they send Bart to france
He’s looking at his tank with a frog in it.
Bart: “ahhh the life of a frog that’s the life for me”
Marge: “Bart would you want to go to france?”
Bart: “WOULD I?” :overjoyed:

No, I think the joke is simply that Homer reads it as “Do not touch Willie” instead of “Do not touch —Willie.” If it was “Do not touch Willies,” I’d agree with you.
No, that’s obviously an intentionally sexual joke.
Considering that this is the show that gave us the phrase “cheese-eating surrender monkeys,” I’d vote for the latter.
It took me five years before I realized that in Animal House, Otter pretended his girlfriend died so he could pick up chicks. I thought his gf really died.

Well, technically, he was pretending the girl who had died had actually been his girlfriend. He didn’t know her from, err, Eve, he just read her obituary and headed to her sorority house…
Well, yes. The MPAA said “no” to the first one. The boys suggested the “bigger longer” alternative and the MPAA said “okay, sure.” And then when they realized what they’d done, when outside folks were pointing and laughing, they starting making a fuss, but the boys said, “too late, you already approved it.” And that’s when I thought about what it meant.
I remember when SP:BLAU was in the theater, and being suprised how many adults I had to explain the joke to. Especially people who found the TV show offensive from just watching a few minutes or only seeing news stories about it. Their shock that even the subtitle was a dirty joke was classic.
What about the infamous “sugar walls” comments, and “we’ll all be taking golden showers now!”
They get away with a LOT on The Simpsons!

In the Halloween short Scary Tales Can Come True, Bart and Lisa are captured by a witch who has built a house out of candy (a la Hansel and Gretel). Homer comes to their rescue by taking a bite out of one of the walls, commenting to himself, “Mmm…sugar walls…”
Alright, then thats another joke I just got.
“The Brazilian Tree Lizard is a nasty ovoraptor. It’s already wiped out the Dodo, the Cuckoo and the Nene, and it has nasty plans for the Booby, the Titmouse, the Woodcock and the Titpecker.”
Speaking of the Simpsons, I will admit that it took me a few viewings before I got the Kurosawa “That’s not how I remember it” joke.

Was it just me, or did it take anybody else a while to figure out the “female body part” that rhymes with Dolores?
Hint: it’s very close to the sugar walls.
In the episode Bart vs. Australia, it starts out where Bart is calling different countries below the equator to prove Lisa wrong about the way water runs down the drain. It shows Adolf Hitler rushing to his car phone while a guy rides by on a bike saying, “Buenos notches, mein fuehrer!” I had no idea what that was about until I saw The Boys From Brazil for the first time only six months ago.
Super Gnat, if you’re too timid to Google for “Sugar Walls,” here’s just about the only safe-for-work return, although in my opinion it’s much more distasteful than all the good old-fashioned porn.
