Well here is to hoping that her purring is that of being content. I’d hate to think she is constantly hurt/distressed. For the record, she has been to the vet for her regular visits and he has never found anything wrong with her.
It can also mean, “Trying to sleep, eh? We’ll see about that!”

My granddad sat on one of our cats once. Nobody got hurt, but she wasn’t too happy about it.
I just have to go looking at all the kitty threads; I had to give up my kitty a couple of months ago. And I miss him! Yours is adorable!
Do watch where you sit. And be careful; even if you look, by the time you look away and start to sit, there can be a cat there. I have years of experience with this phenomenon. I honestly think they teleport.
Awwww! She’s so cute! I’m glad to hear she’s alright. I’ve accidentally tripped over my share of cats, luckily no one was hurt.
Awww…The Man Who , that is one adorable kitty. If I didn’t already have 3 cats and 2 dogs I’d go out and get a kitten right now…but hubby would have my head on a platter if I did.
Just another chiming in that it’s very common for cats to lose bowel control when frightened. My cat almost always poops herself when I bring her to the vet. (She hates the vet.)

This is something every future cat owner should know, cats will ALWAYS try and steal your seat when you get up, I’ve had 8 cats throughout my life, and every last one of em did it. I always ease into my chair.
